1 Phantom Thief Lily

Thief in the Moonlight

A swish of bright white,

Nothing more than a flicker

The thief lies in wait

She swoops, gracefully, like a dove

Illuminated by the moonlight

Nobody sees her

As she steals the jewel

Never finding

The one she was looking for

As with nimble fingers,

She defies the world

Becoming as dazzling as the moonlight

--

"Just a little more, and this jewel will be mine..." She places a device on the case, successfully cutting a small opening in the case. She reaches out towards the jewel, being careful of any alarms.

The jewel is a beautifully cut sapphire, known as the Deep Sea for its rich blue colour. Anyone's mouth would water at the sheer beauty of this jewel. The jewel reflects some light, shining a dim but rich colour from it. The price for this would go into the millions. Lily's eyes looked into the jewel in front of her, seeing her reflections on the outer side.

The alarm sounded once the jewel was removed was secured into her gloved hands. Loud sirens ring throughout the whole museum, leading into the pouring in of the guards.

Emergency lights switch on, showing that the guards have secured every entrance way. Lily stood in the middle, amongst all the light shining on her.

"Phantom Thief Lily. It looks like your thievery will be stopped today!" An officer stepped out. He was a well-trained man, his muscles showing slightly through his uniform. Lily smirked before laughing out loud.

"End it? Never in a million years, Officer Hans!" A grappling hook shot up from her sleeve, shattering the glass rooftop into pieces,

"Catch me if you can, Officer Hans~," she said in a mocking tone before ascending. She immediately shot up into the roof, escaping from the guards. Not knowing everything was set in stone the moment she did.

She got onto the roof with much ease. However, another obstacle was here. Helicopters appeared in her field of vision, with bright lights.

"You're surrounded, Phantom Thief Lily! Give back the Deep Sea and you'll be let off!" The sound of the microphone blaring into her ears, attaining a lot of attention from the spectators at the foot of the building.

Lily took out the box that the Deep Sea was in and she kissed it. She then took out the jewel, the small blue light being reflected into the night sky.

"This jewel? I would never let go of such a precious thing. But if you want it, you can have it!" She throws the jewel towards the opening, landing it an officer's lap. Running towards the edge of the roof, she prepared to jump off.

The elegant figure jumped off the high-rise building, exposing herself for everyone to see. It was as if time stopped, Lily was feeling high on adrenaline. This was why she couldn't get enough of this.

"It's the Lily herself! Catch her!" Multiple cars lined up at the foot of the building, ready to start the chase.

"For as long as I live, you'll never catch me!" She smirked and from her cape, came out a parachute, gracefully gliding across the sky.

She opened her outerwear, dropping a hundred of call cards. These call cards were decorated with the finest of gold ink along with a bright red lily stamp. All it said was:

"Today, I have won the heist! Catch you next time!" She lets out a peal of laughter as she saw what was behind her, helicopters and cars chasing after her. The officer was in one of the helicopters, giving orders to corner her. She smirked and turned towards him before mouthing.

"See you next time." Her coat opened again, revealing a smoke bomb. She disappeared into the thin air, without a single trace.

"Officer Hans, upon closer inspection. The Deep Sea she threw was a good fake." Opening his eyes from the smoke bomb, his brain processed the information relayed.

"It is to be expected, for a thief to create a replica. The chase will stop here temporarily. Gather everyone and we'll discuss the next heist." Hans continued to give orders to turn around back and head for the police headquarters. A figure peeked out from a car window and let out a deep sigh as the helicopters and cars left.

Her white hair shimmering in the darkness, blue eyes as clear as day. A male from the front seat looked and her and smiled.

"Nice going Rebs. Successful heist tonight!" The timid girl nodded and took out the box with the Deep Sea inside it. Her gloved hand gently taking out the jewel and pointed it towards the full moon tonight. The moonlight making dozens of refractions within, providing the jewel with a stunning appearance.

"Pretty..." Her blue eyes looking at the beautiful jewel. It was hard to believe such a timid girl was Lily herself.

"Sorry for making you like this, we have to survive in this harsh world." The male turned back to see his sister admiring the jewel with sparkling eyes. The timid girl shook her head, understanding their situation.

"Let's go give this off Big Brother.." Her satiny, rolling in smooth waves. Her big brother gave a rub to her head before starting the car.

Under the veil of peacefulness, the world was filled with blood and pain. Ruled by the underworld, lives were threatened every minute by mafia gangs, hitmen and assassins. These two had to do everything they could to survive.

Manifesting their interests for thievery and medicine respectively, they became a duo.

Like two peas in a pod. The excellent thief and the genius doctor highly accomplished in concocting various plans and heists together. The doctor was in charge of the devices and pieces of equipment used for the heist, whereas the thief just had to be flashy, and steal the desired item. Together, they were an impenetrable force to be reckoned with.

The two managed to sell the jewel at a very high price in the black market. The money sold from the jewel allowing them to cope with their daily lives for the next 2 months.

"Big Brother... I think I want to plan another heist soon..." Pierce laughed and looked at her from the mirror.

"We'll refrain from a heist till we are met with a request alright Rebs?" The timid girl nodded once again, before continuing with their seemingly peaceful life. Their lives were peaceful, normal siblings supporting each other. But it didn't turn out all smiles and rainbows. Being forced to live in the Underworld resort them to doing these schemes.

"Let us go back Rebs, we have a long day tomorrow." The girl answered with a "yes" in response.
