What happened to Dad?

Dad was half-coerced, half-just gave up and joined because he's kinda weak. I had two options with him: Either he ultimately fought the Shades and got killed for his trouble, or he fought Kate and stayed with the woman he's now in a relationship with, and Kate&Amy are severe betrayed because he left them for this chick and some power.

Are the Shades still around after Derek is dead?

Yes, the organization still exists. I had a whole series conceptualized where different people who were in the group got their stories told of "turning good" but that's not going to happen. But they are severely weakened and the Shine are ultimately seen as stronger because they won the battle.

How did Amy & Aiden end up falling for each other?
