Leigh has a feeling that they know what she's doing these past few years and just let her be because of the promise that she and her father made. She has no choice but to obey or the worst will come.

With a troubled mind, Leigh leaves the gym and goes back to her home. From across the streets, she could see her mom doing her routine with her favorite spot which is the garden. She could imagine that she's making a hum sound while watering her plants. Their place has a small space for the plants since her mother needs a relaxing place where she would not feel any stress. Smiling at the scene, she crosses the road and makes her way to the gate of their house.

' Ma! Your beautiful daughter is home! '

She heard her mother giggle at her words.

'what? You're not believing me? Mom, how could you! We look the same!' she acts as if she's hurt and clutch her chest.

Her mother giggled more. It just makes her happy and hearing her mother laugh feels satisfying.

Her mother do a sign language

' come, I cooked your favorite'

She smiled and hugged her mother's side and walked with her. Her mom is an asian girl and since she lived with her mother, she knew some of their cuisine like tinola and kaldereta and can even cook it. Her favorite is  kinamatisan.

Her mother is not mute but due to an accident, she could not talk anymore. It broke her heart for her mother because after the accident, her heartless father left her mom and sent her a divorce paper. It makes her hate her father even more when the news of him having another woman gets to her.

While eating that night, she discussed the call with her mother. Her mother looked at her with a pained look but her mother knew about the promise so she could not say a word to stop her.

The same night, she made her resignation paper and sent it to her agency. She booked her flight early in the morning and packed only a few of her things.

She arrived at her father's place, from the gate she can assume that the place is pretty big. She can only assume that the business is good on him. As she enter, a butler came and greet her. The butler guides her to her father's office in the house, it's on the first floor and wider than she expects.

She saw her father sitting at his high back swivel chair. She can say that his look didn't change much except for the additional scar in his forehead.

'I see that you have arrived, come and sit'

She sat in a chair in front of his office table.

'I will send you to settle some things for me'

As to what her father told her, she cannot stop her eyebrow raised in questions.

'what? I mean I don't mind if I'm going to do something for you but can I see Levi first? '

With what I said, her father rose to his feet, his drinks in his hand and he walked in my front.

'See Levi? That seems impossible since she doesn't live here anymore.'

He says while looking at his drink like he doesn't give a fuck about Levi.

'what do you mean? The promise you made is she will stay here until I get back here?! '

I said as I looked into his eyes but I saw nothing to his eyes, only his carelessness about Levi and I.

'promise? Hmm. I don't remember promising something like that.'

I see red, my rage hit me and all I see is red.

I grabbed his collar and tried to push him away from me but I did not expect his comeback attack. He smashed his glass to my head breaking it in the process. I fell to the ground due to the impact, I tried to stand up but every time I tried, everything in the room was spinning. I felt a hard thing at my back that pushed me hard, back to the ground. it's just then that i realized that he kicked me at my back, he kicked me next to my sides. I felt more of his kick and I felt like my consciousness was slipping away.
