Chapter 1.1 I met a Ghoul As F@ck

I've arrived at the most famous school in our city, which is located a few kilometres away, while I'm running non-stop.

"The school didn't change much huh..."

Standing in front of the gateway, I then looked upon the school, The Arklane National Highschool. This is a semi-private school founded by the country's former president, PRRD.

This High school is a public school that functions as a private school. Its tuition and enrollment are 100% free, but it has strict regulations and events identical to those in private schools.

I went to the side of the gateway, near the fancy brick of walls with the school's name encrypted to it. The gate is wide open, with no teachers nor security guards sentinelling around.

All I could see were students walking past forward the gate. Since the weather is sunny, I went to the side just to idle time whilst glancing at the other students passing around.

Despite the fact that I've been studying at this school for over 2 years, I barely have any friends or acquaintances inside. It's not like I don't have some, but there's only a few of them.

'I am here standing at the side of the pathway with hands crossed and head looking above the sky '

I initially put myself furthest at the side so I can't bother other students when they're walking around.

Frankly, There are only a few students right now since it is 6 in the morning, making the pathway wide open.

"Haaaa! Haaaa!" Panting of a student was heard behind me, running in steps as if he's sprinting. Though I ignore it but I wonder why they are in hurry. I tucked myself much closer to the side to prevent collision incase they hit me.

Despite doing that "AHH!!!" I felt a strong bump from behind my back making me question.

Did that f@cker bumped at me? Seriously? I turned around to look who the idiot was and when I looked by, I saw a girl slowly loosing consciousness.

"Ahhhhh...."

After dropping on her knees, she laid down on the ground and completely looses consciousness.

I thought, "What the f@ck!"

Her eyes closed as soon as her head bump the ground and laid her arms completely exposing her chest, I initially thought the girl died right away, but they won't die from a human collision am I right?

How The f@ck-

Moments after she loses consciousness, she opened her eyes, woke up and slowly stood up whilst patting her head in pain. She then looked at me with a confused face.

She probably didn't know what just happened so she immediately assess the situation and remembered the accident, she closes her eyes and bowed to me then apologies.

"Ah! I'm sorry!"

I looked straight at her in silence and didn't bother to respond to her apology. I was surprised at what had just happened and stared at her face. After a while, I tried to look at her body trying to appraise her figure.

You could say that she's a very beautiful girl, with pearl-clear skin, well downturned eyes added with her natural thick eyelashes.

Her hair is so silky-smooth and straight that it bounces even at the slightest steps she makes, and her lips, it's natural. She's like a moving doll on a living body.

But the more I looked at her body the more I noticed something weird about this lady. It was odd for me to see but something in her eyes bothered me.

She has extremely beautiful eyes, with the colour of a wisteria flower, purple tint gradient shines in the lenses. I was a bit confused, but then I remembered one thing.

This girl.

I slapped her face.

"You-, You're a ghoul, aren't you?"

"AH?"?

I just slapped a girl that bumped me in her right cheeks.

Normally, people would think I slapped her face because I didn't accept her apology but I have a different goal. She replied-

"Ho-Ho- how did you know?"

With her hands easing the pain from the slap, shock appeared on her face, added with her question, She was indeed actually a ghoul.

Noticing my reflection on her Wisteria-coloured eyes, I was shocked by it, the hair on my hands stood up, it was my first time seeing one.

Resembling a myth that if a person whose eyes reflect your face the opposite way. Then the probability of that person being a human is zero. Yup! This girl's eye is reflecting the opposite of my reflection.

This girl ain't human. I MET A GHOUL As F@ck!

Looking straight at her face, I didn't manage to react immediately. I was in awe seeing a ghoul with those eyes, they're incredibly rare.

But the moment I managed to digest it, I gulped down and thought of the next move I should be doing. I didn't even bother to answer her next question.

Looking at her being up in the sun, I guess she's not the type that dies by it.

But to her fear, she moved a step backwards away from me, using her bag to protect herself, and waited for a moment to escape.

I've fought multiple ghouls in different occasion but have never seen such being whose face and body, incredibly identical to those of human beings.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

I laughed viciously and placed my hand behind my backpack, as if pulling a sword from behind.

She saw the pose and immediately guarded herself with fear.

As I reached into my backpack I then slowly opened the zipper, trying to find a weapon I can use on against her.

I immediately grabbed the weapon whilst it was sheathed in a leather, curious and surprised, she asked.

"Um, what's that?"

Looking at my weapons I then realized. Wait..., this is-

"This is a ruler!"

The thing I pulled out is a 24 inch ruler covered or more like sheathed in leather. Rulers nowadays were fancy enough to be covered on polished horse leather in black matte colour.

With relief, the girl said.

"Oh! it's a ruler, the design is strange, as if it's a weap-"

I unsheathed it-

"WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! HOLD ON! THAT'S NOT A RULER! THAT'S- THAT'S A DAGGER YOU KNOW!! A DAGGER!"

I pointed the dagger at her as I emit a glow into my eyes. My mouth turned into a crescent moon as It found a prey.

The dagger in front of me is a 19-inch black bladed American Bowie with its 5-inch handle; it is large enough to cut down a neck or sever an arm.

"Okay! Okay! Calm down! Can we talk about this? That thing looks dangerous! So please put it down! Put it down... please?"

She begged for me to drop my weapon as she looked at me emitting an ominous aura. Seeing the big black blade made her knees shakes in fear, just a normal reaction when you point a large weapon in front of a person.

As it was still early in the morning, there were only a few students walking past the pathway, small enough that they didn't notice me carrying and pointing a dagger right in front of a person.

I took the dagger to my left shoulders aiming for a swinging pose; as the dagger lit into red crimson, Fire started to illuminate and as soon as my feet positioned itself-

"Heart Impact"

I chanted.

"Heart impact?"

Using the back of the dagger where it is dull, I aimed at her neck. For there was a reason I needed her to remain alive.

"Crescent Blood"

I slashed right through her and shook the wind, blowing away our hair on the impact. flames scattered in a crescent shaped form, imitating a moon on the center of the month.

Yet I opened my eyes in surprise as I felt the slashed feeling empty. It felt like I sliced the winds, as if I didn't feel a flesh pass through it. I was sure I was aiming for the neck, but-

"That was close"

Moments as soon as I strike, seeing her bend her body that it reaches almost at the ground whilst completely unhurt- I was shocked, I never thought-

"She Dodged?"

After bending her entire body, she reached her hands at the floor and to my surprise, she backflip two folds and landed a few meters away from me-

I was surprised to think she managed to dodge an attack that fast.

After getting away from me, she landed distance away that I could not reach with a kick or a punch, she then said to me-

"Wait! Stop this pleasssseeee! I'm innocent, I Promise! I promise! I pro-"

While she was pleading for a talk, I immediately gauged the distance. Being a few metres away, I stomped my feet on the ground and jumped into her.

I wielded my dagger in my right hand, hiding it on my left side like I did earlier. With my elbow blocking her line of sight, the moment I reach the distance- I landed my feet and instantly-

"Haaaa!"

Aiming at her neck using the dull back of the blade, just suddenly- Her image disappeared,

"Woah"

I instinctively looked below just to see her bending downwards. Seeing her bends below my angle, I instantly tried to hit her again in a straight slash, but the moment I swung, she immediately backflip backwards making me swing at empty air.

I was surprised at her reaction speed, but-

"Haaaa!"

A projectile of fire blasted forward in a crescent shape aiming to hit her while she's backflipping.

But noticing the fire incoming at her, she flipped one more time and dodge the projectile of fire in hair's breadth.

The moment she landed with her feet, I could not attack another blow since she's out of my reach. She already dodged 3 continuous attacks that only occurred in a few seconds.

Trying to get up, she immediately told me-

"Okay! Stop! Stop!"

"Crimson trust!"

Ignoring the distance, I immediately jumped right above her head with a thrust on my dagger aiming to hit her shoulders.

She saw me furiously in a red flame and then immediately straggled sideways away out of my line to avoid getting hit by the impact.

My sword blasted through the concrete and was sunk to the ground.

"Shit!"

With her right beside me, I immediately pulled out the sword from the ground and slashed right through her throat.

But the moment before it reach-

"Eii"

She bends and flips backward making a distance away from me, she mumbled to herself.

"That was close"

I was completely astonished by her agility, I could not hit her even with those impacts.

Looking at her physique, she doesn't really seem like someone who could even last a few seconds at a close combat battle. She looks more like a fragile girl rather than an athletic maniac.

There was only a second to millisecond gap to my attacks, yet she predicted and avoided it. I remained calm and looked at her to determine her next move. But she remains standing in the corner defenseless trying to read my next attack so she can avoid it.

This girl is reading my moves and instantly reacts before I attack. She's different from the ghoul I've fought the last time.

Looking at her, I then raised my energy that shook shivers on her back, making her cover her body in defense. She was absolutely terrified yet she continued trying to defend herself.

"Um, can stop this please?" She asked me.

"F@CK YOU"

I chanted.

"Crimson Impact!"

My right arm glows red-like veins that slowly crawled to cover my entire arm up till it reaches into my dagger.

Making the weapon ignites a colourful bright crimson colour. It emits fire burning on the blade that evaporates the air surrounding me. then in a flash, without warning.

"Die"

I vanished as I jumped directly in front of her, breaking the speed that a human can react to. With only a few milliseconds to pass, my dagger was a slicing distance against her throat.

With this speed, it's impossible to react, a human has an average of 0.5 millisecond reaction speed plus adding the time you need to dodge after you react. it was inevitable.

My blade is right on her throat, she can't possibly-

"WOAH! JESUS!"

At the last millisecond, as if predicting where my attack would be, she bent her body sideward, twisting it to avoid the strong Impact. flames scarred her face but it didn't burn her.

As soon as her hands reached the ground, she instantly did a backward handspring and flipped into the ground. Fleeing into a direction much further than me.

Flames gushed out the area and scattered as the attack emitted such strong concentrated energy.

My eyes opened wide in surprise as I saw her dodge an attack that breaks even the human-limit reaction.

The moment she landed on the ground, we unknowingly entered inside the school gates, making us far away from the side where we were seconds ago.

She balanced herself as her briefcase-like bag altered her body and dropped into the ground. Backflipping multiple times, no wonder why we already entered the inside of the school grounds-

I hold my dagger near me to hide it when a curious passerby looks at us in seconds.

The place is vast and only a few students came walking, and if there is someone who manages to see us, it's either they don't care or are too busy to care.

She stood straight as soon as she stood up. She seems not to be running considering the distance between us.

Does she know I can outrun her? Even though she can react and dodge attacks like that, her speed isn't really that great.

She looked at me with eyes in a serious expression and stared at me. After a while, she placed her foot forward facing in my direction.

I was surprised. Isn't she supposed to be running away from me?

I looked at her as she stepped forward, I can't move for now since I felt someone staring at me behind my back, perhaps another student like me.

She asked.

"I- I"

I what? What is she saying? also I can't hear a voice that soft when you're 7 meters away from me.

Though I know for certain what's bound next to happen. I step foot forward approaching her to enter the 4 meters domain. It was a distance we can talk normally, her feet were shaking from tension especially after the times I tried hitting her neck with my dagger.

But she stood ground and chose to be brave. She was about to speak but then -

I suddenly noticed the sky, there was something above there. I shouted.

"What's that?"

I pointed my fingers at the sky.

I noticed that the clouds were slowly separating, making the sunlight show up to the ground. People tend to follow what other people do, and as I was pointing my fingers in the sky.

She looked at it with curiosity. I could confirm that a bit of the sunlight shines directly at her and with UV rays exposed directly to your eyeballs.

Curious as she kept looking at the sun, she burnt her eyes.

"My- My eyes!!!!"

She screamed in pain as soon as the UV rays had hit her eyes. Seeing her defenseless I immediately tackled her to the ground.

"KYAAAAAA!"

Pinned at the ground, she was surprised and immediately tried to push me back, but her hands were busy trying to ease her eyes. She's still blinded and can't see so it was such an advantage to me.

I finally outsmarted her!

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Got you bitch!"

"Kyaaaaa, help! help!, hmmmmmm...."

As she began to shout for help, I covered her mouth with my hands. I restrained both of her arms by putting them above her head.

Struggling, she immediately squirms and wiggles her body like a worm.

Though as she did, I immediately used my body weight to put it off, directly pushing my chest into her upper body. With her upper body restrained, her legs tried to stand up using the base force of her stomach.

I was struggling, This girl's core strength is strong!! I bet this girl has abs. But as soon as she raised her legs, I blocked it off using my feet.

I tried reaching for my backpack but my hands were too busy restraining this girl's hands. My dagger fell when I tackled her. leaving me with a choice by trying to exert all of her strength and wear her out in the meantime.

Though How long does it take to wear her out?

"HMMMMM! HMMMMM!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

I laughed at my vicious victory. I tried head butting her but her mouth constricted my movement. If Only I had something that could knock out her consciousness.

Trying to think of a way to knock her down, I suddenly remembered one thing I almost forgot.

I'm actually in school right?

I heard footsteps coming straight at me.

"Yo! Bro, what are you doing with the girl?"

Whilst doing my best to restrain the girl, I then looked in front of me and found a student standing, looking at me pinning the girl right below me.

He has that facial expression of a guy looking at something he can't believe in. And not just him, but I think I managed to gather a lot of students' attention to me, making a wall of them.

"Why are you pinning the girl?" He asked.

"Ah..."

"HMMMMMMMM...."

The girl I pinned screamed but my hand was covered in her mouth. I immediately stared at her and she went silent.

I then looked at the guy again and tried to think of an excuse I could think of and then I said.

"We're just playing..."

"MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....."

The girl screamed again.

"Doesn't look like it bro"

"No! No! for real, We're just playing"

"HMmmmmmmmm...!!"

"Shut up!"

I pushed my hands directly into her mouth to prevent her from moaning. The students looked at me with disgusted expressions.

shit! shit! shit! shit! Don't look at me like that! This girl is supposed to be dangerous!

The students then slowly but surely, trying to encircle me, asked.

"Getaway to that big sister please!"

"Wait a minute! it's dangerous, so-"

"You're the one dangerous big bro!"

"Hmmmm... Hmmmm!.."

"Shut up"

Shit if they really encircle me, I'm doomed, I need to prevent them to at least jump directly at -

"Jump to the guy!"

"WOOOOAAHHH"

5 of the boys jumped into me including the leader who shouted the command. They were pulling my hands away from the scene, but still they couldn't overpowered me.

But somehow I felt a strong mana surging in front of me, and I noticed it was coming from the girl below me.

And after a while, a force field pushed me away, including the boys who's pulling my hands.

"Big sis, flee!"

One of the boys shouted as they successfully pulled me away.

I shouted too.

" Wait! nooooo, that's a gho-"

I stopped in my tracks before I said the word ghoul, Shit, I can't mention that the girl is not human, they won't even believe me.

4 boys pinned me again before I managed to catch up to the girl but I immediately overpowered them, blowing them away at the scene, But the moment I did. I looked at the area the ghoul fled but somehow.

One of the boys asked.

"Big sis suddenly vanished?"

The moment I looked at the place she was a little while ago, she was gone.

"Where...."
