Chapter 299. Alluding Storm

Zein realized he was getting attacked before he was down. And he realized he was getting abducted when he opened his eyes, since he was inside a moving vehicle.

The first thing he noticed was that his arms were bound. It was something like cable ties, so he couldn't rip it off without using magic energy. The second thing he noticed was that he was low on magic energy. Getting sick apparently done that, since your mana would circulate trying to prevent your body from succumbing even more. And he hadn't been guiding anyone these days, including Bassena.

The third thing he noticed was that he did not bring his storage ring. He took it off when he was wiping himself, and didn't wear it back, since he was at home anyway. He didn't know if he had to curse or think it was a blessing, however. He was sure these people would have taken the ring off of him if he wore it, and that might be worse.
