1 What is the mess all about?

"Roll it"

"Pack up for the background dancers"

"Set the fans right there"

Shooting is going on a full swing in the special set erected for the romantic film. People ran here and there with no care to attend their duties

"One more take" the director screamed 

"Common Kang, it's already his 5th take, we are running out of both time and budget," the producer stated

"Then what are we supposed to do? He just can't act, and no one is daring enough to say him he sucks, he is one of the superstars" Kang He Jee sniffed

"Sir, Wi Trin Sook said that this is the last take and he won't shoot for the scene again" Haneul conveyed the message she was asked to convey by the leading star

"Great, this is totally great. Now let's do it the other way, lets dim the lights and keep the background song rolling, we can take long shots and pack up for the day" Kang He Jee stated

"Kang, what is the use of erupting this humongous set if we don't capture the essence of it?" the thought about loss of his money angered the producer

"Sir, if you have enough guts, please convey to that stone faced superstar of yours that he needs to act" Kang He Jee was equally furious

"Sir, please cool down both of you" Ji Woon came running as soon as she witnessed a war of words erupting in between the director and the producer

"Ji Woon, we have invested a lot in making this set, just because your director wanted the dream sequence to be unique and now he wants to dim the lights and take some long shots, in such case what is the use of making this set? He can't waste our money just like this" the producer was more than angry but kept the voice low as he saw staff in the unit observing them

"Ohh don't behave like this Wyne Mroo, you know that we are doing it only because we have no option left. If you want me to make good use of this humongous setting, then you should give me actors who can act and not someone who looks the same way for every scene" Kang He Jee replied 

Everyone in the set was more interested in this heated conversation more than the work they have on their plate. Being a mediator between the director and the producer it took every bit of Ji Woon's patience to not yell at them and kill the issue blowing out of proportion

"Sir, let's sit and discuss" Ji Woon smiled

"We don't have time. Wi Trin Sook, has to attend this event tonight, he needs to leave within half an hour" the producer stated

"Sir, I understand that this set was a waste of money, but if we cover this we have to show him showing various expressions and that's impossible. So you have to permit us for doing this in a dim light and this is a dream sequence, most of the dream sequences are shot in dark. This is the only option we have" Kang He Jee replied

Looking at the set the producer understood that he should go with Kang, or else he might have to pay more for Wi Trin Sook for his call sheets, he made up his mind 

"Sir"

  Haneul called out when the producer was able to give his nod

"Yes" Kang He Jee grunted

"Sir, why don't we place the camera at top and not zoom onto actors faces? I that case we don't need to capture every emotion, yet it will look beautiful, we can also capture the beauty of the sets, we can take shots from either ways and we can do equal justice to the set and the actors. What say?" Haneul beamed suggesting her idea

"Haneul, I think it would be better if you don't speak in between" Ji Woon stated sweetly understanding that things her idea didn't go well with Kang He Jee looking at his facial expression

"Let her speak Ji Woon, tell me dear what is your idea?" the producer encouraged

"Sir, I was just thinking about asking the cameraman to not zoom into their faces frequently but take the angles from sides, in that case we can make great use of the set and the dream sequence will stand out" Haneul replied with confidence as she got the nod from the producer

"Kang, this is great; why don't you follow this idea?" the producer questioned

"Sir, she is just an assistant director, how can you even ask me to do the shoot according to her orders?" Kang He Jee stated a bit seriously

"So what Kang? Just because she is an assistant director there is no rule that you should be not hearing her ideas and apply them" the producer replied

"That's not what I meant Sir, if we follow her idea it will take more time and we will need more man power. We will to later everything which is previously set, that might take more time. Moreover, who will convince Wi Trin Sook about the changes in the scene? We all know how fussy he can be" Kang He Jee stated the fact

"Ji Woon will speak to him about it, don't worry. I loved her idea, ask her and execute it accordingly. Ji Woon, explain Wi Trin about the changes," the producer ordered

Kang He Jee fumed at Haneul, which didn't go unnoticed by Ji Woon.

"Sir, I think it will be better if you get your whole movie directed by her" Kang stated

"What?" both Haneul and the producer said at the same time

"Sir, this is my film. I can only work here if I get enough respect for my creative choices, I can't work for someone who doesn't even consider my ideas. As you liked her ideas, you can go with her and complete your movie, I will walk away" Kang He Jee replied looking at Haneul who stood there gaping
