11 Expectant Heart

"I said you can leave to your respected seats, that belongs to you too Rae" Haneul smiled at Rae who is standing erect staring at her

"Rae Yun" Haneul called out loud trying to avert his attention from her

"Don't yell at the poor guy Han, he got the opportunity of his lifetime. Never could have he dreamt that you will be choosing him in your personal team, look at his face it looks quite elated. Let the news sink in him, let him take a closer look at you" Lee teased

"Why in the world do I even share secrets with you" Haneul face palmed herself

"Oh Darling, I know Rae Yun is clearly into you even before he approached you. It's quite evident from the way her looks" Lee Yoo Soong whispered

"God" Haneul huffed and snapped her fingers across Rae's face

"Back to earth Rae, we have much to do and the time is running away" Haneul stated

"Yess… yess… thank you Haneul for thinking about me" Rae stammered which showed his excitement

"I have chosen you only because I felt you are good enough for the job and I do believe that having a great team will help us reach the goal in a less amount of time. So I would be happy if we strictly stick to work," Haneul perfectly verbalized her thoughts even though she clearly knows the reason why Rae made it to her team

"I promise you Haneul, I will give my best. I won't let you disappoint in any way. I am looking forward to scoring some brownie points" Rae Yun added shyly

"Good, now get back to work," Haneul said in one go and sat in her seat without sparing a glance at Rae who is still staring at her with expectant eyes

"Rae, stop staring at her like that. She has selected you in her team and God knows how long it takes to build back Min Woo Joon's image. So you are going to get a lot of time to spend with her, so now exit from the place before she gets pissed off" Lee Soong suggested Rae

"Yes, I will do and Lee, I think this is the signal that she is ready to take the step. She always avoided men, especially me whenever I tried expressing my feelings and now she has picked me to work with her. I am so excited" Rae squealed

Haneul stared at Lee to which she shrugged. When Haneul looked at her with seriousness Lee remembered the words Haneul want her to convey to Rae

"Rae, I am happy that you are elated to work with her but remember that Haneul has only selected you keeping in mind your progress, so please don't think otherwise. She doesn't want you to get disappointed by expecting something from her" Lee put forth the exact words before Rae her roommate asked her to

Even though Haneul kept working on her laptop, she has been continuously eavesdropping on the conversation taking place between her roommate and the guy who is trying his ways to date her even when she cleared the air about her feelings to him

"Ohh, Okay Lee. I know she doesn't want to be in some kind of relations and all, but until now she didn't even call me with my now but now things started changing, I hope this journey will experience any progress in our relationship status too" Rae Yun said hopefully

Haneul can't stop but look at the optimistic individual with awe. She felt all bad hearing his hopeful speech when she clearly selected him to be on her team only to prove to Min Woo Joon that she too got admirers and to show him that things have changed with time

"God, he is thinking that he might have a chance to win my heart, what am I doing here? Am I going to hurt his heart" Haneul thought to herself feeling all weak

"Lee, I did wrong. I have committed a mistake by taking him into the team Lee, suggest me a way to remove him from the team" Haneul questioned Lee as soon as she came back after speaking to Rae

"Are you mad Han, if you want to remove him now why did you even select him in the 1st place?" Lee Soong questioned

"I just thought he can be an asset but now he is expecting a lot from me and I don't want him to feel all dejected due to this. I feel so sorry for making him go berserk. I don't want this to continue Lee, I will remove him from the team and add some other one" Haneul declared opening the team report

"Han, stop it. What are you trying to do?" Lee screamed stooping her roomie from doing the changes

"I don't want someone to get hurt due to me Lee" Haneul replied

"I get that Han, but if you do changes now it will send a message to Kang that you have committed an error even before you have started working, and all the people who are against you will cease the chance to create mishap out of that. So don't do anything stupid now" Lee ordered

"What about Rae?" Haneul questioned

"I have cleared the air for him and you have always made him hear your point of view, if he still has some expectations it's up to him. You don't have to feel sorry for that. Now change that stupid mood of yours and run. We need to dress up" Lee stated

"It's already 12 pm, we need to start within half n hour or else we will be late and in no way we can go home, change our dresses and return within half an hour, so sorry to disappoint you Lee, but we are going to meet him in the same clothes" Haneul smiled

"Disappoint and Lee? Not even in dreams and darling, I know that you will find one or other reason under the roof to skip this so I have asked Shin and she has sent us the clothes. Let's get dressed" Lee winked

"What? You have ordered house help to send us clothes? Why have you done that? What's wrong with these clothes and why the hell we need to dress up for someone?" Haneul screamed irritated

"Lower your voice Han, it's not just someone. It's Min Woo Joon, the superstar with such hot looks. How can we show our faces like this to him? We need to at least look good, who knows what destiny is in the store" Lee winked
