The one that got away. As cliche as it sounds, she was the one that got away. The love that never took place. Hermione was a friend that I could always lean on no matter the circumstances. Someone constant in my ever changing life. An angel that is always willing to help no matter the consequences. She was brilliant and beautiful at the same time. We grew up together, watched each other flourish and grow to who we are today. Fought battles side by side and shared the weight of our problems together. We had a friendship that many would envy. But... I never thought that there would be a day I’d fall for her. That I’d love her beyond the boundaries of friendship but it’s a love that should never materialise. Because now, she could never be mine.
