1 This can't be true

"Hey!" A voice asked from behind.

"Y-ya?" she asked. That is when the person to whom voice belong came near her. She stepped back in fear. The person was a muscular man in his 20s. He had dark shade of black hair and black eyes.

"Relax. I am just asking what are you finding in a trash can?" he asked.

"N-Nothing." The girl said coming in sight of man. He observed her. She had same color hair and eyes as his. 'This can't be true, she died years ago.' The man thought. That is when he noticed a cut on her arm.

"Can I ask you why you have cut on your arm?" He asked curious.

"U-Um I just fell from stairs." She lied. The man knew she was lying but didn't forced her to tell truth. Then he got into his car brought a first aid box and went to the girl. She seem barely 15 or 16. At the sight of man coming towards her she backed away again in fear.

"Hey! don't worry I just want to clean your cut." He said reassuringly with a smile. The scared girl thought to trust once and allowed man to clean her cut.

"What is your name?" Man asked sweetly.

"I-It's Tanvi." She replied with a small smile.

"That's a cute name." Man commented to make her comfortable.

"What about you?" She asked.

"My name is Karan." He replied. She hummed in response.

"So Tanvi why are you wandering around at this hour alone?" he asked.

"My mom told me to bring bread from the store." She replied. Also she was hoping that he do not ask about what she was finding in trash can.

"Really?" He asked amused. She nodded.

"I think it's late you should go home." He said.

"Okay." She said lifting the packet of bread she bought.

"Come on I'll drop you." Karan said.

"N-No." She nearly shouted in fear. Karan was little taken a back.

"I mean my parents would not be happy to see an unknown guy dropping me home at this hour." She continued. He nodded.

"Then how will you go home?" He asked concerned.

"Don't worry. I walk home. It's nearby only." Tanvi said. Karan nodded and went to his car. As soon as his car drove off Tanvi ran to her house. She entered not wasting time to ring bell.

"B*tch why are you late?" yelled James. She backed away in fear. Her whole body was shaking.

"Someone s-stopped m-me." She said stuttering. James then yanked the packet of bread from her hand and she ran to her room. Tears started streaming down her face uncontrollably. James was her stepfather who was 24/7 drunk and always abused her. Same goes for her mother.

While Karan there reached his house aka his family castle.

"Hey! Bro." Tarun greeted as he entered living room. Karan was too focused on thoughts of Tanvi. Tarun was Karan's youngest brother.

"Hey did something happened?" Tarun asked again as he saw Karan lost in thoughts and didn't reply. Karan was brought out of his thoughts by Tarun's voice.

"Tarun you won't believe." He said.

"What?" Tarun asked confused. Karan then explained in detail.

"But didn't mom and her died 13 years ago?" He exclaimed.

"I don't know she exactly look like her." Karan replied.

"Should we inform everyone about this?" Tarun asked.

"No. Let's just tell boys about this. But how we prove that she is our sister?" Karan said.

"DNA test is only option but we need something of her body like hair or something." He replied.

"I have that." Karan replied. Then he went to car and brought first aid box. To his luck he didn't threw the cotton swab with which he cleaned Tanvi's cut. Both the brothers went to Karan's room.

"How did you get this?" Tarun asked surprised and happy too.

"She had a cut on her arm. I decided to clean it so it won't get infected." He explained.

"A cut?" Tarun asked and Karan nodded.

"When I asked her how she got it she replied that the she fell down from stairs but I don't believe it." Karan said.

"Chill bro. For now let's just try to find if she is our sister or not." Tarun said and Karan hummed in response.
