1 Chapter 1: Chatacter Select

I start off my day as any other, I wake up, eat breakfast, get ready, and set off. Nothing new nothing special but boy oh boy did that change quick!

I left home book bag in hand prepared for another boring day at school thinking to my self 'Wonder what BS will happen today!' while walking off to school. Though as I near the train station I get a weird and unwelcoming feeling. I look up after noticing something was off only to see that time has stopped, the birds no longer chirping, the noise of people around me suddenly hushed. I drop my things and scream as loud as I can "What the---!?" But just before I could question further a booming voice answered me, "You have been selected as the newest HERO! Enjoy your time and remember to take out your tasks well!" Just as I regain my composure and start to say "What is this? What's going on!?" A bright light blinds me as I feel my feet leaving the ground.

It's started....

As I opened my eyes, I saw it, a player screen or at least what looked like one. While looking at it a the loud voice spoke once again this time saying "Welcome HERO! Please input information!" Startled by the voice I responded "Alright! No need to yell about it!" I looked up once again at the player screen and saw what seemed to be log-in boxes. I tilted my head in confusion but did as the loud voice told me to.

I look at the skill box not quite understanding how exactly to fill it out. While looking about in confusion I found an "i" button which with my zero experience with games or the internet in general I just did what I though would work and pushed it. Right after I pushed it a girl in traditional clothes popped up saying in an overly enthusiastic voice "Hiya! I'm Info! Your handy dandy guide! How can I help?" While scaring the living day lights out of me I asked more panicked than I ment to come off "H-hi uhmm what does the skill box mean?" To which I got the overly enthusiastic response of "Oh my! Well that right there is your skill box! You start off with only one skill but can add onto and level up that skill as you go silly! You have three starting skills to choose from! Choice one us Medic, as a medic you can identify, use and grow herbs! Choice two is the handy dandy Mage, as a mage you can use magic, learn spells, and tame magical beasts! and last but most certainly not least warrior! As a warrior you can fight monsters, learn martial arts, and earn gold! Now don't those all sound so neat! Welp now you gotta choose but dont worry I'll be there with you throughout the way! Whenever you need me just say 'Info'!" And with that she disappeared just as fast as she came. I thought to myself for a while but finally decided.
