Synopsis

I possessed a character in a novel that I stopped writing as a hobby when I was in high school. My mother died in an accident, and my father is rumored to be dead right after he went to jail. Thanks to that, I became an orphan girl at the age of seven without a name. While living in another person’s house, I was exhausted from working and was caught running away. Then sold to s*ave traders. I was wondering if this life is meant to be ruined. The reputable Duke, the Empire’s greatest villain bought me. “She’s 7 years old, but was small and too thin.” Henriette, the worst villain in the original, whose hobby is making everyone act like a puppet, playing tricks on the imperial family, and threatening the neck of the aristocracy, it turned out that scary man is my real father who went to jail! But you seem a little different from the original villain. “Well, duke…” “No.” “…..Oh, father?” “That, too.” “……uh, Daddy?” “Yes, my daughter. What do you want to have today?” Henriette, who I thought was scary, is more friendly than I thought. “If anyone bothers you from now on, you have to tell your big brother, okay? I’ll drown them at the bottom of the lake.” “Shall I go see flowers with my little sister today? There are so many ornamental mermaids in the glass greenhouse. I thought you would like it, so I caught it myself. Did I do a good job?” “This slow girl! Dad called you…. No, I’m not mad! Damn it, don’t be s*upid! Ahhh! Yeah! I’m wrong! Okay?” The new brothers were definitely villains in the original, but they are much nicer than I thought. “You can do whatever you want. Anyone in the family, if you say so, will listen carefully and do what you say.” But it’s weird. The novel I wrote wasn’t originally like this. *** “….If you promise me a few things, I’ll stay with you again. I won’t leave you.” “You can see me anytime without an appointment.” “Should I? I can always run away to a place where you will never find me again.” He frowned his eyebrows. If I had known that a small word of expression would have caused such a terrible reaction, I would have kept my mouth shut then. It was when I was in the middle of regretting, “You’re mistaken. Do you think I will let you go in the first place, shouldn’t that be possible first?” “….What?” “Who said I’d let you run away?” ……No matter how much I think about it, I think I got it wrong. “If you’ll really run away, you shouldn’t be caught by me again.”

The city was quiet in the hour just before dawn. The moon was shining brightly, its light illuminating the cobblestone streets and ancient buildings. But, something was amiss in the air. A feeling of unease hung in the atmosphere, as if there was something sinister lurking just beyond sight. In the dead of night, a young woman was walking down the street. She was alone. Her footsteps echoed off the walls, and the silence around her was eerie. Suddenly, she heard a sound from a dark corner up ahead. She stopped, her heart racing, and she clutched her bag tightly. She hesitated for a moment, and then she took a step forward. She had to know what was making that noise. Or, she thought, maybe it's nothing, just my imagination playing tricks on me. But still, her curiosity got the best of her. She slowly approached the alley, trying to be as quiet as possible. With each step, her anxiety grew, and she wondered what would happen if she found someone or something in the alley. Finally, she reached the entrance to the alley. She took a deep breath and walked into it, her heart pounding in her chest. The alley was dark and empty, but there was a shadow in the corner. She peered over, and saw a figure crouched on the ground. "Who's there?" she called out nervously. No answer. The shadow didn't move, and it didn't make a sound. She took another deep breath and stepped closer. With her heart pounding furiously, she slowly and cautiously stepped towards the shadow. She got closer, and closer, and closer, until she was right in front of it. Finally, she mustered her courage and leaned towards the shadow, to see what it was. What she saw made her heart sink in her chest. It was a body. A body that looked like a twisted and distorted human shape, with mangled limbs and contorted features. She froze in terror, her heart beating out of her chest. As she stood there, the shadow suddenly seemed to move. She couldn't believe it, her mind was playing tricks on her. But then, it moved again. Slowly, the shadow turned its twisted head towards her, with eyes that looked like empty sockets. Slowly, the shadow rose to its feet, and it started walking towards her. She didn't know what to do, she was paralyzed with fear. The shadow was now standing in front of her. It seemed taller than before. It reached out its twisted hand, and she realized that she had not been hallucinating. Its hand was covering her mouth, muffling her screams, as the shadow dragged her into the dark alley. Her eyes were wide with fear and tears were streaming down her face. She struggled against the shadow, but it was so strong, and it pulled her in deeper into the alley. The shadow loomed over her, towering above her and blocking out the moonlight. It crouched down next to her, and its hands tightly gripped her as it leaned over her, looking down at her frightened face. She tried to scream, but the shadow's hands pressed against her mouth, and she could only manage muffled gasps. As she struggled, the shadow's hands tightened their grip around her, but she couldn't move an inch. She was in this shadow's grasp now. The shadow stayed silent, but its grip on her tightened. She tried to pull away, but she was helpless. She whimpered and tried to yell for help, but her voice was barely heard. The shadow then leaned close to her ear, and whispered, "Relax." Then, it leaned even closer, to her face, and it said, "It will end soon." She closed her eyes and prayed, as the shadow lowered its face towards hers, and its hands moved slowly down her body. She waited for the inevitable agony, but it didn't come. Instead, the shadow's hands gently caressed her face, and its raspy voice continued to speak. "Don't be afraid," it whispered, "I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to be with you." As the shadow slowly lifted its hands off her mouth, the young woman saw that its eyes weren't empty sockets, but a pair of sharp, bright eyes.

Sold to the Aristocrat

[R-16 Warning, contains steamy scenes in story] "Arrest her!” A confused face was plastered on young Alrossia as the palace guards rush to seize her. She was tackled onto the dirty grass and the people around her looked at her horrifyingly. The peasant woman was not able to react quickly as the Captain of the Palace Guards reaches for her lowly purse and rips them into shreds with his sharp lance. A few dozens of jewels fall to the ground and the people watched in awe as the Captain stepped on the rubies, but picked a tiny piece of topaz. Alrossia struggled, and before she knew it, the spear's shaft was already near her throat. "It's her, the Jewel Trader. Bring her to the courtroom." Alrossia reached for the purse, but before her scarred fingers could reach the strap, she was knocked into the ground and her vision started to fade. The next thing Alrossia knew was the cold water splashing her face and the fourteen spears around her exhausted body. She raised her head up, weakly only to see the male that she had never thought to meet again. “Long time no see, Alrossia. I heard you were rather skittish and left the fort in an attempt to escape." Her legs trembled and balls of sweat formed on her forehead as she terrifyingly gazes at the aristocrat on the golden throne, adorned with hundreds of jewels and a glass of wine on his gloved hands. The male's sunset hues focused on her's and she had never experienced such fear as he raised his fingers up, commanding the guards to leave. Alrossia was frozen in fear and looked away. She did not dare stare at the man before her eyes. When the doors started to close, the male stood up. Her body stiffened when she felt his fingers lift her chin. Fear was evident in her body. "My Lord," she cried. "I have lost count of how much times I have told you this, peasant." Tears streamed from her eyes as his piercing, cold eyes slices her very pride. "You are sold to me."
