2 The new household
As she sat looking through the windows she couldn't help but feel nervous ,wondering what the new journey of her life is going to present to her.Two days back a friend of her parents' had come offering her a job as a servant at one of the elite vampires' home.She had first declined the offer but after alot of thought and convincing she accepted to go and work.Right now she was scared because she grew up listening to stories of how vampires drunk blood from their servants to only leave them dry and dead'Are you ready to go?' she was pulled out of her train of thoughts by the woman who was taking her.
'i have to put my hatred behind me inorder to survive'heaven kept on reminding herself on her way to the place which was going to be her new home.Soon she could see a very big mansion hidden behind the trees everything just became clearer as she got nearer , never in her life had she seen a house as big as this the compound was so large designed with different beautiful flowers ,some of which she had never seen .She was now standing at the gates with the woman who had brought her waiting for the guards to open for them and she saw a man who appeared to be in his early 30s approaching'how may i help you women?' he asked.'I am here to bring a maid as she was requested by the lady of the house'said the woman and they were let inside.
The butler then led them inside and presented them before the lady of the house'lady catherine ,miss heaven here is the new maid you requested for' and just like that the lady who had brought heaven was given 5 silver coins and she left.Now heaven was left all alone with the vampiress who was looking at her with scrutinizing eyes.'Ahem ....if you would please control your heartbeat as it is loud enough to wake the wolves in the forest .'
'OMG!!!!! what else would i expect from a vampiress' .Heaven was told the dos and don'ts of the mansion .As the butler led her to the servants quarters he told her to try her best to avoid the young master of the house as he was not fond of humans and he would suck them dry without a second thought, he also told her that she would be the one incharge of his personal needs that included cleaning his room,washing his clothes,preparing his birth and all his other requirements.
In the servants quarters everyone kept on looking at her as they murmured under their breathe though she could still pick up some of the words a few of them spoke 'Do you think she will manage or run just like the past ones lets all bet i bet 2 silver coins '.
