Of all the novels Ive read on Webnovel so far, this novel has to be the most messed up on. Stopped at 522, might pick up if I want to read something crazy again. Below are some things I dislike so far: SPOILERS - Lack of trust - Possible romance between a 32 year old and 19 year old. 32 year old is her legal guardian - Brothers/Friends/Uncle Nephew fighting for same woman - Mother attempts to murder her child who was kidnapped when she was two - Villain becomes part of male lead’s family - From sisters with feud to neice/aunt (in law) with feud - Way too many white lotus - So much of the conflicts are stupid and could have been avoided

The FL is weak because she doesn’t have strong support, but mentally she is strong and tries to stand up for herself. I feel bad for the crap that she had and has to go through. The only person who seems to care about her is her half sister, but it makes me wonder if she’s a white lotus. I’m curious to see where this story would lead. Let’s see if it gets picked from trial reads.

Loving the complexity of the main characters backstory. She’s smart and stubborn but also knows when to stay quiet. Ready for more chapters!!

I don't get why Li Beichen acts that way. It's confusing. Anyway, Old Li is funny haha. The way he handle things, that is. And I kinda get confused when suddenly the scene change from the mc and ml in a hotel's bedroom, then suddenly change to the mc kneeling inside the hospital. I mean, the author should've put something like 'Three years later'... or even anything that makes it easy for readers to understand that some time had already passed. Well, just saying. But the story is good. Like it! 🥰

In the 40 chapters I read this book is a real rollercoaster. The FL is hiliarious😂All the males so far have the typical King of the world attitude. Granted the step mom is evil And her natural dad ( @ least the man she claim is her dad) her little sister is actually really sweet. I hope their relationship doesn’t change. Ihope this book gets picked up👌🏾
