The Path's Beginning.

The sound of someone getting hit, there was a few seconds between every hit but nonetheless, it was happening. This sound was an everyday thing in the area that our main character lives in, Genji was birthed in the illegally occupied sector of Japan by an illegal substance abuser and a 'Performer', The area they live in was dubbed, 'The inside' by many and within 'The inside', There was districts. Ichiryu, Niko, Rohza, Shiki, Goyu, Rikuko, Shichiohba, Hachitaka, Kumo and Tokita. The one that Genji lives in at the moment is the Tokita ward. A young Genji laid on his backside while on the ground, bruised and beaten, Staring at the azure sky and Wondering, "How many times have I been in this exact spot before?" The beatings happened regularly but he was always jumped by some older kids.

On one special day the trend of this Boy being beaten would no longer happen, As a man named 'Niko Tokita', Would find Genji passed out on the ground and carried the boy to where he lived. An abandoned warehouse, in the Tokita ward and as he awoke The boys eyes fluttered open as he awoke, Looking around curiously, a warm bowl of rice and pieces of steak on a plate next to it. No one else was here, the room being completely void of life but there was a note next to the food and it state's,

"Hey kid! I am Niko Tokita, Just call me Rasho, This is my current living area. I have something to say to you, so just look around, there's a few books to keep you busy, look over them before I get back. I'll be back in a few hours so it gives you enough time to skim over some of the main texts of each book, Start with which ever you want, BYE!!"

Genji read the note and then ate the food, as instructed he would go over and start reading the books, after awhile 'Niko' would return, catching Genji swinging his fists and kicking at the sand bag they way he was instructed in the books. He didn't exactly know what he was doing because he didn't know how to fight and yet he just knew by instinct about how to throw a kick. Unfortunately, A few times he fell over due to his balance being off and that was something he'd need to improve on.

Genji decided to read the books in the order of how they were stacked, the first book was in labeled 'Adamantine', Adamantine is form or Kata that is based around muscle control to increase ones offensive or Defensive. Ones body will become harder than even steel, Some notable moves are as follows; Iron fingers, Ironbreaker, Indestructible, Bone Binding. As Genji kept reading, He found that this muscle control stuff was super interesting to him.

The boy was too focused on the bag to notice Niko coming in, throwing some random combinations at the bag that he saw in the books, Attempting another move he saw, that move was named 'Ironbreaker' but two things would leave him unable to do so. One, He doesn't understand muscle control and how to properly clench his muscles correctly. Two, His muscle mass is so little that even if he had proper control it would not do much.

Niko saw this and raised his voice to show that he arrived, "Yo kid, That moves a bit too advanced for you. We'll need to build that muscle first.. I assume you like fighting but I saw you laid out on the ground unconscious." Genji turned to see Niko, The older man had short black hair with brown eyes, he looked like he was in his late 20's. When Genji saw the man he stared at him for a few seconds before smiling, "Thanks old man.. for the food and stuff, Also why help me? I'm just some orphan from this hell hole of a world."

He said before walking over to the adult, looking up at The man. "I wanted to ask if you wished to be taught, I saw you laid out all beaten up so I thought I could teach you some of my moves. I see you had interest in The Adamantine Kata, You tried to replicate 'Ironbreaker'. I'll teach you Adamantine kata first, It's simple but again, You are super little. Prepare yourself, Kid." The young child's nose scrunched a little bit as his brows furrowed, "My name is Genji!" Shouted the boy with annoyance in his voice.

Niko started chuckling while wiping laughter tears from the corner of eye's, He'd walk over to the kid, dropping to one knee while getting eye level with the kid. "How would you like to take the Family name, Tokita, Once you get out of this place you'll need a Family name." While smiling innocently, Genji looked at Niko, His large dark colored eyes looking up at the man.

"Alright kid, Let's get you back in bed. You're still pretty injured, So until you've recovered. We won't be training fully until you are okay, Understood, Genji?" Niko said before getting up and walking over to the couch, Genji followed him to the piece of furniture. The kid laid on the opposite end that Niko was sitting at, After awhile the child had fallen asleep once again. However, Niko hadn't fallen asleep, He was still awake and for good reason. "Get out here, Tiger."
