Chapter 1:You got to be Shitting me

Music blasted in lillys headphones as she walked out of the coffee shop waving goodbye to Hannah, the manager and her boss.

After a long week of dealing with cranky and rude customers it was now Friday. Exitment bubbled at the thought of the long weekend ahead of her. Having nothing to do she could finally finish the book 'A Gay Man's Paradise'.

Which would give her just enough Ep to reach level 5. Being unable to level up through her main quests Lilly had resorted to gaining Ep by finishing her sub quests.

So far every sub quest had just been the requirement of reading some Yaoi Novel. Lilly couldn't complain, she loved to read. Leveling up was just a plus to doing what does enjoyed.

Shoving her hand into the bag of cake balls, that her manager just so happened to try throwing out. Not really she just knew Lilly liked them and since it was the end of the day and she gave them to Lilly figuring no one would come in and try to buy them last second.

Shoving one of the cake balls Into her mouth Lilly almost began to choke.

[Side Quest Update]

L Go into the Ally beside The Jungle bar after sunset

Reward:1 level

Failure:Death

Lillys stomach dropped as she looked over the quest. She didn't have a choice in doing the quest. Well technically she did, but it would end in her death.

Growing up Lilly had set 2 rules. Rules to keep herself safe and out of danger.

#1- Don't go out past dark, when a rift opens and monsters pore out there are times some are able to get away. Those that manage to get away are usually smarter and stay hidden during the day. Comming out to hunt once the sun sets.

#2- Stay away from Mana rich places for rifts are more likely to open up there. The further away the better.

Yet the sudden quest given defied both rules. For the past few weeks mana had been quickly accumulating in the area down town where the Bar was located.

Usually when mama spikes like this in areas it means a rift is bound to appear.

'I've got a bad feeling about this'

Slowly Lilly began to walk towards the quests location. The closer she got the more she felt like crying.

When in danger, a person's body ether one of three responses. Flight, where when someone feels danger they run to get away from it. Fight, or facing the danger head on. Last but not least freeze, where you don't fight but you don't run eather.

That is lillys response, so if there was danger she would be deader than a cooked porkchop.

Making her way through town the bar soon came into sight. The dimly lit street light casted shadows apon the empty building.

Because of the sudden spike in mana most buildings in the area became abandoned, at least until the rift shows up and is delt with.

With the lack of life in the area for the past week, trash began to line the road. Along with many glass pains coated in a layer of dust. Some windows were so borded up.

Lilly could only assume it was to try and keep monsters from braking into the building and rocking havic once the rift appeared.

Once close to the Ally, the young girl began to hear voices that ended up filling her with dread. 'No sain person would come here willingly' she thought to herself.

Trying not to step on any trash Lilly peaked her head into the Ally.

On the ground sat a young ashy red haired boy whom had tears in his eyes. While blood coated his porcelain freckled skin.

Infront of him stood a man on the bulcky side. His black hair casted a shadow on his dark olive skin. Giving a murderous vibe as if he wished to kill the boney boy on the ground.

Besides them two there also seemed to be one more person whom laied face first on the ground in a pool of red.
