41 Chapter 41: X-Force!

It was said that Wolverine was one of the most dangerous members of the X-men. His amazing healing factor and claw mutations made him dangerous.

The adamantium that was grafted to his skeleton, the beast within him, and his years of military and martial arts training made him a weapon.

"And he is just getting his ass handed to him," Ruler said to himself in half surprise and half fascination.

Ruler had been watching the pair fight, or rather Wolverine resisted the ass-kicking that Sabertooth was dealing out, for 10 minutes straight.

He did not try to intervene or help either side but instead floated on the side and watched. While he had no animosity against Wolverine, he also did not feel the need to help him. His time with the Neo had changed his POV a bit.

Ruler eyes constricted before he looked up to the eastern sky as if he saw something approaching. It was actually his instinct skill warning him that an enemy was approaching.

'Judging by how much danger it is sending me though, I'm not in any real danger. It is most likely the X-men trying to save the midget.'

Thinking up to here, Ruler decided to yell at the pair and try to break up the fight before it got even messier.

"Yo! The X-Men are on their way, and I'm not helping you fight them. Why don't you guys just call it even and end this right now?" he tried to suggest to them.

"No!" the pair yelled at him which caused Ruler to get a bit frustrated.

'You are getting your ass handed to you. You should take the chance to agree and not try to continue fighting, shorty!'

But he did not say anything else. He would just watch what happened afterward and only intervene if someone seemed like they were about to die.

Soon, a jet was heard before an unfamiliar jet came into view. Without even landing, a figure flew out of the jet and approached Ruler and the duo who were fighting.

Ruler did not recognize him at first but soon did.

'Warren? I heard he got uglier and metallic wings after he hooked up with Apocalypse but he actually looks kinda cool.'

As Ruler was thinking this, the figure of Angel, well now Archangel came charging into him and tried to bisect Ruler with his wings.

Ruler casually blocked it with his own pair of wings before slamming his tail into Archangel from above and sending him crashing into the ground.

'That's definitely gotta hurt'

Ruler thought to himself as the jet landed and 3 more figures emerged from it and began approaching the group while two of them were shooting.

Ruler used his tail to deflect the various bullets or would let the chariot tank them. Even though his skin had gotten tougher and he could use magic barriers, he still preferred to use his Instinct skill to try and improve himself.

Ruler looked at the 3 who were approaching while shooting and felt a headache coming on.

'So he is currently on a break with the X-Men and is with X-Force now. This is just great!

We got the psychic ninja, merc with a mouth, and human robot. Oh, and the angel with anger issues who sold his soul to the devil.

That's it then!'

Ruler had the chariot charge toward the ground before grabbing Sabertooth with his tail and flying away as fast as he could.

"Via Expugnatio!"

Lightning surrounded the chariot and bulls pulling it. Before anyone could react, it was shooting off in the direction of Genosha.

Even though he would not normally mind battling with the group, he did not want to get on the bad side of the mutant assassin group if he did not have a reason to.

Especially Fatomex. He had battled him once before and the man still held a grudge against Ruler and would shoot first before asking any questions. And then continue shooting.

"What the fuck was that?"

Sabertooth asked while being frustrated. His wounds were all healed and one could only tell he was in a battle due to the blood all over his clothes and the scratch marks.

"I let you have your fun. You kicked his ass. I don't need any more trouble tonight."

Sabertooth did not seem satisfied and tried to attack Ruler from behind but his Instinct skill automatically activated.

Before he knew it, his tail had slapped Sabertooth off of the chariot while they were traveling thousands of miles per hour.

Ruler spent the next 30 minutes searching for Sabertooth's body before the pair continued their journey back to Genosha.

When they arrived, it seemed that everyone was sleeping or was just waking up since it was 6 am.

'Magneto trusted us that much or we were taking too long and he got tired. Either way, it's too late to have some more fun with her so guess I'm going to bed.'

But before he could walk 10 steps, he saw Alex and Polaris walking toward him. both were covered in sweat and it seemed like they had just finished a morning run or some other exercise.
