52 CH 52: Hermes

When Achilles arrived, he saw Jason sitting there alone with nothing but a red skirt on. This was what Quetzalcoatl had made for him since she had destroyed all of his clothes before she flew off somewhere about some 'business'.

Jason had learned during his training that he could no longer install cards. He figured that it had something to do with his status as a Demi-Servant. He also did not want to waste calling Iskandar for something that Achilles could do easily and faster.

Jason was left grumbling and did not want to fly all the way back to Genosha so he decided to wait for Achilles to give him a ride as well as inform him about what had been going on during his absence.

Luckily, Achilles was from a time where Jason's wardrobe did not stand out but he still did not wish to wear it. Jason hopped on the horse-drawn carriage before it took off for the skies.

Jason sat on the back and looked at the ocean beneath them as they traveled to Genosha. He decided that he might as well ask Achilles what he had missed. When he did, Achilles had a gossiping smile on his face.

"You have missed so much, Boss! You missed quite a few things but there have been three major ones that you most likely care about."

Jason perked up his ears when he heard Achilles say that and started paying closer attention.

"Well, the first is your family. Your eldest brother had officially joined the Avengers with your mother again after he took that break. He is also engaged to Tigra after they had been dating for the past 2 years. It was about time.

Your other brother became an official X-Men during this time too. He is a part of their new initiative to have more mutant teams. Think he is on a team called the Corsairs or something like that.

Your mom has had nothing interesting going on with her. She is still in that weird relationship with War Machine. They have broken up and gotten together at least 10 times in the past few years and it is just weird.

She was also worried about you. I don't know why though. You are almost 20. I left home and went to war when I was 13 and my mother never worried about me."

Jason wanted to point out that Achilles was immortal but decided not to. He just let Achilles continue on with his rant/gossip.

"Besides that, Genosha also had some changes. Your friend Polaris and her lover left as well as Magneto's other children. He declared war with some small country that starts with an L because their leader called mutants abominations while killing several on international TV.

It didn't amount to much and no one died because only the two leaders fought but both are now in comas. The others left because they felt it was Magneto's fault and he was not being a responsible leader or parent.

A few new people had also arrived during the time with one of them getting the approval of the other members to become a member of the inner circle or council or whatever you all call yourselves. She's called Emma Frost and is a telepath."

Jason was not surprised to hear that Lorna left. He could tell from Magneto's actions that he was too extreme for her liking. He just did not expect her to leave so soon after he had arrived.

'Oh well. I'll meet up with her some other time to check on her.'

Jason didn't care about Emma too much though. He had heard of her reputation before but was confident that her powers could not affect him too much or he could at least use his Servants to deal with her.

"Haha. You are like Hermes going around and getting information like this. Delivering this and that. You ever considered becoming a herald?"

Achilles let a small smile appear on his face before he began to speak again.

"This is the most serious matter though. I thought I should lighten the mood before telling you this but I'm sure that other information will not help when it comes to this."

Jason turned around and saw that Achilles' face was especially serious. He knew that something truly important must have happened.

"The Guardian Clan and 2 smaller clans tried to rebel against the other Neo. They killed off several other clan leaders in assassinations and killed off a few others before they were forced to retreat.

When the other mutants on the island were about to arrive, they convinced them that it was a Neo only issue. Even the other Neo who were taken by surprise agreed.

The rebel Neo only left after taking severe losses and using a teleported to portal away somewhere. I only heard about it after it happened and have not been able to locate them since."

A dangerous light appeared in Jason's eyes. While he did not mind the Guardian clan or others leaving peacefully, starting a coup was out of line.

'I'll deal with them later. For now...'

"Who did we lose?"

Achilles was expecting that question and knew who Jason was truly referring to.

"Almost all of the leaders. Domina barely survived. She has passed on leadership Slasher. She said that there shall be no more clans and all Neo will be under a single banner. Ember and you were named as her Hands since she knew neither of you truly cared if you were in command or not.

The Neo lost about 700 total on both sides with only about 1300 surviving in total. 1000 are still on Genosha while 300 went with the Guardian clan."

Jason nodded at the words. He would make sure that Stare and all those who followed him would pay for the lives lost that day.

Achilles' and Jason's heads suddenly jerked up and their eyes went cold. Jason summoned two before crushing.
