“So I get to go home right?”

"So I get to go home right?" Alodar said impatiently for a response.

The messenger looked at him with amusement. "I'm sure you will be satisfied"

Alodar snorted then walked into a glowing portal. After some time in total darkness he felt the ground and opened eyes he hadn't closed. He went through a list of characteristics of his home world. Grass is green… check, trees aren't secretly monsters… check, sky is blue… check. He sighed, he was home he had never been so happ- wait, Alodar noticed something out of place, this world had 3 moons, visible even in the day. His world definitely didn't have 3 moons. "What the Fu-" he stops himself mid word. Despair washes over him, he didn't know what he had done to deserve this.

After an hour of depressed crying and punching the ground in anger, he stood and smiled. "If… if, you know what I'll kill that messenger for this, and that damn god or whatever."

He looked around trying to find out what he could from his general area, a total of nothing. However just as he decided to walk away he felt an odd sensation, or the lack of a sensation. Alodar was a mage, or at least kinda. There was almost no mana it was like being naked. It was an uncomfortable feeling,he slowly spread his own mana out in a hope of finding some natural mana. After a few meters he finally found a small amount of mana barely enough to be noticeable. Alodar's face turned grim, mana was essential to a world, a small amount like what was present here either meant someone absorbed it all or the world was young and mana hadn't grown yet. Either way it was bad. While he could sustain himself without external mana, he had to tread carefully, if it was someone who could absorb a massive amount of mana, Alodar would hate to run into anything too strong with almost no mana nearby. If it was the other possibility, well there were some huge problems there. First his growth would be stunted and he wouldn't be able to cast any decent spells. Second if he tried to absorb the mana he could accidentally destabilize the world, which could lead to either the world collapsing or a rip in reality letting monster from other worlds in, or even worse both at the same time.

Either way I need to figure out what this world is like Alodar thought. Of course it was dangerous to use too much magic as he couldn't absorb outside mana just in case it was the second possibility. So walking it was, "yay" Alodar sighed, it was going to be a long day of walking.

Sorry for the short chapter as time goes on the chapters will grow longer. :)
