"They are not back,'' he whines for like the tenth time tonight. 

I don't know what Rome's obsession with Khalid is but from what I can see, he is acting too involved and I don't like it one bit. I get that this man is the only family he has outside me but he should know that Colm would not do anything to hurt the guy. 

In fact, I worry more about Colm being hurt by their involvement. 

"Can you just calm down?" I tell him snarkily. 

I am getting irritated and it is almost like he hasn't even noticed. "Why is Colm so interested in him? He is going to end up hurting him and I can't stand to watch that happen.'' 

"Colm is not a bad person. If he is showing interest in your friend, then he genuinely cares." 

He moves away from the window and turns to me "Call your cousin, ask him when they would be back. it is late and the last time we went out of the compound, Khal almost died."
