Lost friends

"Come on babe, we are going to be late. I really want to meet Tala just as she arrives,'' I grab his hand in mine and he doesn't budge. 

"We are on time,'' he tells me as we get down from the car and rush to where one of the guards is waiting, probably for us. Walker is not outside to greet us, so I already know that we are late. 

"We are so late,'' I hurry into the house and I see Walker as he walks to us in the hallway. 

"You are here, welcome,'' he waves us over to him, and we stop in front of him. He has a smile on his face, one that shows amusement. 

"How is she?" I ask him. 

He shrugs "She is not happy, that is for sure but deep down, she is still there. We just have to find a way to get her back." 

"Do you think you can?" 

He shrugs "I will try my best. I know what grief feels like and I know that I can understand what she is going through. I will try my best to help her through this."
