1 Jan 01 : New Year

Dear Diary,

So, this is the first day I buy you, diary. Wait, no, this is the first day I use you! I bought you yesterday. And I know that yesterday was New Year's eve, I was supposed to do some celebration on it, but who cares! I went shopping, saw your pitiful state -being put in the rack like that- and you look cute as well... You know the rest.

Contrary to your belief, no, I don't like cute things. I prefer fluffy things, thank you very much.

Where should I start? Do I need to introduce myself to you? I think I'll pass. It's unnecessary, and I'm your master! You just need to remember that.

I guess I should tell you how my day went by, but... It's New Year today. You know what new year means.

I. GET. OLDER.

I don't like it. Can I stop getting older? Maybe next Christmas I should ask for a superpower from Santa, the power to stop the time! So that I can't get older!

Sadly, Christmas is still so far away. Too bad I was preoccupied with how the world goes by that I just wished for peace to Santa last Christmas. Shouldn't have done that, I guess.

I wonder if Santa heard my prayers. I prayed so loudly that my throat was sore the next day.

Who am I kidding? If he heard it, why the world is still fighting. He must have been so busy taking care of 7 million people's wishes. I wonder if he could do his job well.

Is he even a male? If he is a female, then she must have been the manliest woman in the whole universe! Look at how she can climb here and there, fly here and there!

What the hell I have been writing about? It doesn't even relate one to another. Anyways, 1 January is uneventful, nothing to say. Maybe just a few bombing here and there, some shouting here and there, but nothing new. Just the usual daily occurrence.

Now I need to go out and find something to eat. Maybe this time I could get something better than cold bread. I want some nice fresh bread, but that means I'd need to be a thief... Which I don't agree to, by the way. So, cold bread here I come.
