4 Chapter 4: Back to the Beginning

"Touya Omega. You have been deemed as a danger to our society. You will now be exorcised. Are you awake?"

"Y..."

"Yes...I am."

"Now. I must ask...Are you prepared for the exorcism?"

"Huh? Who are you?"

"That is irrelevant. I asked if you were prepared for the exorcism."

"Wh..what do you mean b..b.by exorcise?"

"As I've already stated, you have been identified as a threat to the human population due to the fact that you harbor a dangerous spirit within your body. You have been possessed."

"You are now going to be exorcised. I have some holy water with me just in case things get wrong, so don't worry about my safety."

"As for you. There's a 99% chance of you dying from this, but if you do live, you will speak nothing of this exorcism. Am I clear?"

"Did you say 99%?"

"Yes. Now...I shall begin the procedure."

Touya heard something spark up, like a lighter. Then, he heard several flames ignite around him. The warm air dispersed into the atmosphere, heating up the chilling area they were in. His entire body was shaking, and he braced himself for the worst. He prayed to all higher beings for his survival.

"Three...two...one...

Surprise!!!!"

The blindfold was lifted off of him, and his eyes readjusted to the new light. The chains around him loosened up and released him. He noticed that it was now nighttime due to the lack of sunshine peeking through the windows in the dark room.

In front of him stood Cain with his five women, Kowaima, and Red.

Cain was laughing hysterically, while Kowaima looked like someone was holding her at gunpoint. Red's expression was hard to read, but it seemed like a mixture of joy and worry.

"Sur...prise?" He open and closed his hands, trying to see if he was actually unharmed.

"Yes, Touya. This is a prank that we do to all of the new recruits at the Cobalt Sector." Red wrapped her arm around Kowaima's shoulder, "Kowaima went through this not too long ago."

"Touya! I'm so sorry!" Kowaima was practically crying, "They made me come along! I didn't want to do it!"

Cain had finally come down from his hysterical high, "Now that was hilarious." He walked away with his women, wiping the tears of laughter from his eyes.

Touya sat on his knees, still shaking from the experience. He wiped the tears from his eyes and started laughing, "Oh. You guys are cruel. I actually thought that I was about to die."

"Nope. We shot you with tranquilizers to drag you in here. We're currently in the basement of the main hall." Red reached out and helped Touya stand on his feet, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah. Knowing that I wasn't in any actual danger kind of took away all of the fear, though my adrenaline is still high." That was a complete lie. He was still shaken up by the whole ordeal, but he wanted to forget about it completely. It was nearly impossible to stand straight.

Red left Kowaima and Touya alone in the room, as if nothing had happened.

"Touya..." Kowaima was still shaking, more than he was.

"What?"

"Please don't kill me! I know that you're mad about that stupid prank! I didn't even want to do it, they forced me! What do you want in exchange for my life?"

"Wait. What are you talking about?"

"Nevermind...I know!" She grabbed Touya's face and pulled him into a kiss. As soon as their lips met, she slid her tongue inside of his mouth, exploring every corner she could reach.

Touya felt like he was melting from the contact, but he pushed her back, gently. "What are you doing?!"

"I kissed you! Now you won't want to kill me, unless you want something more. I can s-"

"Ah! Ah! Stop!" He covered his ears before she could finish her sentence, "I don't want to kill you!"

"Really?"

"Yes. You're the only one who feels at least a little guilty about pulling a fucked up prank like that, so you're good with me. It seems like you were forced to go along with it. If it makes you feel any better, I want to kill them, not you." He wiped his lips before he reached out to shake her hand.

"Oh..." She shook his hand reluctantly.

Touya noticed that she had on white gloves. Disregarding what she just did to him, she seemed incredibly shy. He wondered if there was a reason that she was completely covered up, since it wasn't that cold outside.

He felt his heart skip a beat as he let go of her hand. His body was on fire, but he didn't like the reason why. "Hey. You don't have to-"

"I'll have a better offering for you next time we meet! Please don't kill me!" She ran away before he could say another word.

"What in the hell is wrong with that chick?" He left the room and walked up the stairs leading to the first floor.

I need to go home...today was one hell of a day...
