1 The first story

On a warm sunny day in Moban, a small district found in the city of Zaral, people are eager to start their day. Fresh Air is filled with moist of sweats coming from the busy people hustling to earn a silver earlier than others.

"Vin, how much for this?" Vin was pulled back to reality after he heard his costumer holding a crystal ball that was the size of a palm. "That one? That's 2 silver, that's the best u can get here in Moban" replied Vin

"Great deal, I'll take it," the customer happily answered, took two silver coins out of his pocket and hummed 'til he got out of the shop.

Sigh... "Another day, huh. I wonder where I should go when mom comes back."

Vin visited his childhood friend Carlo yesterday and bitterly listened on how he luckily stumbled a young Forest Maul that already knows how to walk, coming from a small merchant family just like him; Vin's jaw dropped for a whole 3 sec when he saw the 3ft. Reptilian humanoid creature, bulging with minuscule muscles from legs to neck and the grey and emerald skin, covering its entire body, currently eating the last piece of grilled meat from the plate while the grinning Carlo's patting it.

Carlo told him that while he was in the deepest part of the Fortis Forest looking for valuable herbs to sell, he suddenly heard a weird soft cry that piqued his curiosity over safety precautions and vigilantly followed the faint call.

While following the sound he discovered a run-down house made out of different types of woods, with weirdly shaped rocks enough to shelter three adult people from the rain, when he finally found the source of sound, his body trembled with fear and bliss that he almost passed out when he got a glimpse at the crying maul. After a quick check on his surrounding, he swiftly put it to sleep using medicinal herbs he's saving in-case of unforeseen events and carried the young maul then ran like a madman to a safer spot.

After reaching a more reliable place, his luck reaches the peak and found Ben, a childhood friend of theirs, also on his way to collect valuable herb. Ben was also awestruck for a seconds because of the sleeping maul at his back, he even slapped Ben to make a sense out of him: which also the reason why he arrived safely at home.

"What a gut and luck."

Vin let out another big sigh. Because of what happened, Carlo will now be the new shining star of the town or even the city; He remembered very clearly the potential of a Forest maul because it's one of the top creatures on his wish lists, an adult one can grow to 8 to 10 ft. Depending on gender, its physical ability alone can overpower a group of trained knights that trained hard for years. The most exciting part of this creature is; if trained properly, some of them can use the sacred arts of life energy known as Vuan. Vin started to daydream what he would do if he got such a creature. Vin fantasized all the girls he will meet if he brings that adorable young maul when he walks out, he can't help but grinned and sometimes reenact some scenes if he will be put into such a situation.

*Knock* Knock*

The knock on the door Vin's put a stop on his daydream when he hears the knock coming from the door, hoping that his mom will be the other person that has been waiting for hours.

The door opened, but what he witnessed that came out of the door was an unfamiliar face. A look that he hasn't seen in his whole life and with a color of his skin is pale as snow; similar to a newborn child that has never been exposed to the sun. But what alarmed Vin the most is the person's black and messy long hair that hides his face.

Analyzing the situation, he noticed the difference of their body, with him having a bigger built than the trespasser if he could make the first move, he will have a good chance of winning, as he ready himself for worst.

"&@(*!?" the unknown person said

Vin greeted him with his double-sided axe on the neck, while a shield on his chest and his strongest owned creature, a ranger Slaad at his back. "Who are you? What do you need?" Vin said with a loud voice to convey to the unfamiliar man to say that he is ready.

"%#!&%&@#!"!! said the unfamiliar man while raising his hand to the air and carefully kneeling on the floor to show, trying to surrender. "Where did you come from and what is with that language?" Vin continued not letting his guard down.

"%^*&^@#$!"?

"Ss-stop!-Stop! Please, I come in peace; please have mercy!" Said the unfamiliar man while remaining on the same defenseless position with a reddened face that was about to cry.
