The other one smiled as he hopped back and dashed towards Shade attacking him with his fists

Shade touches his head, blood spilled down on his cheek, he glanced at the other one with furious eyes

`People stay and people go. Now tell me the difference?` he yanked Shade's head

Shade sliced the other one's chest with his bare fingers

The other one hopped backwards and touched his chest as his blood continued spilling out

`All of you doesn't understand the meaning of life...it's simply suffering while waiting for freedom.`

Shade stood up all stiff and prepared to attack

He touched his golden hair and slide it back against his forehead

Shade frowned as he hopped back towards the other one

`Then how about a deal?` he lifted his hands and attempted to shake hands with each other

He slapped the hand away and looked at him furiously

`...you do not like handshakes huh?`

He sighed and later laughed

After the talk I had with Andre--the captain/leader of the deathbringer 3rd division, he said something odd that made me feel more cautious around Kageyama.

I head back towards Kageyama's office, and sighed

"Oh you're back Eve~" he waved his hand at me with Scarlet at the opposite side of the table holding a card

"Ah yes, I'm back...." I slightly bowed my head to show some respect and appreciation

"Me and your friend--Scarlet here are playing cards, well, more like a bet." he smiled at me and lifted his hand

"Y-yes, I can see that..." I drifted towards Scarlet as she was oddly quiet

"Sit here, Eve-sama" Kageyama pats the couch beside him and smiled at me, I slowly went over there and sat

"So, did you made up your mind?" he takes a sip of his tea and smiled

"Uhh, I refuse." I clenched my fist as I have already said my words

"I see" he smiled as he puts his saucer on the table and began to draw cards, I drifted my eyes on Scarlet, but she was still quiet

"Eve, come and play with us" he puts two cards on the table and smirked, I looked at both sides and the guards earlier were nowhere to be found in his room

"Don't worry you can trust me" he smiled and stood up

He puts a stack of documents on the table and pats on it. "I will gladly help you for you to join me and this department." he smiled once more

"..." I bit my lip and clenched my fist, I was having two thoughts, I narrowed my eyes as I drifted back towards her

She just nodded and left the room without a word

"Seems like Scarlet's no longer be able to get in my way on recruiting you, so, what's your response?"

My hand trembled as I curled my eyebrows

"Eve, tell me right now"

"..." I lifted my head and had finally made up my mind

The sound of the crow's caw lingers in everyone's ear

I went outside the room and looked for Scarlet, she was there on the balcony sitting on a bench as the wind blew her brown hair

Her light skin can be seen clearly as the sunlight shone on the building

I approached her slowly as I looked at her mask

(She doesn't take off her mask no matter what, even at night time...)

I looked around and sat behind the other bench behind hers, I looked up high and sighed

"How'd it go?" she pats the cat on her lap as it purrs when sleeping

"It went great...also, Scarlet, I am no longer a kid anymore, so don't let me quit, I will end this career once I find him." I looked at her

She sighed and stood up, "Fine, I won't...."

"Really??" I beamed up as she said those words

"....but beware, now that you've met two captains from two different divisions of deathbringers, you have to be aware of what happens next from now on"

"Yes, I am aware of that." I stood up and nodded at her

She stood quiet and walked towards the entrance, of course, I followed her from behind to walk towards our base

After an hour of walking without getting noticed from the society, we simply arrived at our base near the sea shore

Frisk was there on the captain's balcony reading a book with a cup of coffee, he looked at us as we climbed towards the cabin

"How was it??" he flipped on another page and looked at us

"Nothing happened." Scarlet jumped in and walked towards the chair

"I met someone scary today..." I smiled awkwardly as he stares at me

"How scary, to be exact?" he raised an eyebrow

"Uhhh...." I looked at Scarlet and she continues to read some papers, "Like uhhh, tall man with darkish yellow hair, and he smokes" I acted something's to make it look like Andre

"I see, so, what's his name??" he looked at me with much interest on what happened back there

"Uhhhh...Andrew??"

(I lied)

"Oh, Andre???" he raised both of his brows and widened his eyes

"Uhhhh yes??"

(What the heck???)

"I know Andre so no need to hide the fact that you met him" he smiled at me

"Uhhh yes, thank you"

(Huh? Why did I thank him?)

He smiled as he closes his eyes to sip his tea, "Would you like to have some tea with me?" he raised his cup and looked at me

"Uhh, sure, why can't I?"

"Because it might contain bane."

I flinched as he said those words, my sweat came running down on my body, I didn't take his offer and just stood there like a penguin

(Does he intend to kill me?)

(W-what is this?!!! My chest hurts, I can't breathe—!)

I clenched my shirt so hard that my hand has weakened, my eyes came blurry as I wept from the pain

"Ha—ack!!!!" I stumbled down on the wooden plank, Frisk quickly ran up to me, "Oi, Adam, are you okay????" he lifted my arms and I passed out

I woke up on my bed facing the ceiling, I looked around and they were sitting on the bench looking at me

"Finally woke up?" someone approached me on the other side of the bed and it was a tall, black-haired man with dark cool eyes

"Uhh, who are you?" I asked politely and he smiled

"I am Dr. William Henderson, and your friends called me to help you" he puts his hand on his chest and smiled

"I'm sorry, I must've cause trouble for you guys" I felt ashamed

"Don't worry, you didn't. It's partially also my fault since I scared the heck out of you."

"But you didn't mean that right?" I raised a brow and my voice was trembling

"Of course, Scarlet is right beside us so I can't do it, I wouldn't kill you though, you are important."

I stood up from the bed and bowed on the doctor, "Thank you so much for healing me sir"

"No problem at all, you can call me anytime~" he left with his suitcase

(Frisk seems an intelligent and cunning person, but I should be wary of him from time to time…)

"Come with me for a bit"

The sound of the boots clacking echoes in the hall, the silence between both of us has been uninterrupted from the start of the walk

"You think it was done intentionally?"

"Aah, no…"

I stood up straight while looking on ahead

As we walked silently together, a sound of boots again echoed in a distance

I could tell from his body gestures, a tall man with deep and attractive voice that could make the women crazy, his sense of fashion is all flashy

"I did not ask you, boy" he raised his arm and by the speed that I didn't caught in my eye, he punched me.

"Oh dear, what a fuss to make" he tilted his hat and grinned

Scarlet, knowing what we nodded at each other, she jumped high and landed a blow on his face with GRAVITY

I signaled Frisk to do what he needs to do, unexpectedly, he nodded and went out of the area

"No problem, what information did you get?" I took a chair and sat, I glanced back at Scarlet and she sighed

"First of all, his sense of fashion is more fancy than I thought, with those skills and knowledge, he may have been from your school, judging by the way he moves, he respects everyone in that way, maybe because his 'captain' expects that, and I last saw him flew, is South-East" he pointed
