1 The Quake Felt Around the World

The world of Rhin is a vast and magical world full of mysteries and wonders. Well, that's how it is now. But not long ago there was a man named Xeno he was a relatively unknown man with long black hair that reached to his knees and with scruff on his chin. The event changed his unknown status to the man known across all of Rhin. The event was a catastrophic event that shook the world to its core, which introduced magic into the world. The newfound magic will soon be called Magicum. The first principle of Magicum will be named after Xeno which is Xenorek. Xenorek is the principle of control and manipulation of power.

It was a bright and sunny day, Xeno was a striving young experimenter. One day he had a dream about what the world would be if he discovered a way to introduce magic into this feeble world. Having this knowledge, Xeno scavenged the globe for the elements needed to create magic. The clouds began to darken when he reached his tower. Xeno started to start to chalk the pattern. The pattern was a diamond and a square interlocked together with a circle around it. At each of the corners was a circle in which he placed his unique ingredients. Bam! A brilliant blue lightning bolt struck the middle of this pattern making a shrieking sound and shaking the world. A mystical breeze touched his face. Xeno felt lighter and a sensation so remarkable but indescribable. He felt a tingle on his fingertips, suddenly a bright, elegant green light shot out from his hands and formed a mystical green fire.

The world was shaken to its core that very day. Everyone would soon realize that they had a new ability called Magicum. The first principle of magicum was called Xenorek it controlled and manipulated power. Which people could harness elements according to their cultivation and affinity. Having these new found abilities people of Zyric. Beasts who were in the dark chaos territory rose up and became masters of the elements. Shortly after this event new races started to pop up all over the world. People with pointy ears and a strong affinity for magicum, short but powerful people. These new races are called the demi-humans, People of Rhin found that enslaving these new demi-humans would be of great value. So they did, The slave trade boomed for over 500 years. Until the Kingdom of Zyric decided to give demi-humans, the right to be human. However, demi-humans will still face the harsh world and all of its racism and discrimination. There are 8 cities in the Kingdom of Zyric. The main town is the Capital city with the Grand Magicum Academy.

Every year there is a ceremony in which people of the right age goes and gets their calling. This ceremony is one that will change the life of the receiver. The calling will take into effect the person's strength and weaknesses. Whether they are strong or weak, and if they have a strong affinity for magicum. Mage is usually the highest calling there is, you must be strong and have a strong affinity to magicum. Farmer is the worst of them all. It means your mostly not strong, no magicum affinity and no special skills. Most people can never get out of their calling unless a miracle were to happen.
