Governer-General Aileus sat by the fireside in a cozy chair humming quietly as he looked at the visibly old and dusty book in his hands he could deduce it was diary from about a 60 years after the cataclysm or about 3000 years old looking a the contents his humming intensified

Planet Janus was once a paradise the very example used to display the peak of human civilisation,

But now after the cataclysm where space and time ripped themselves apart as magic was released into the world everything went downhill,

Genetically altered creatures empowered by magic escaped the fighting pits,

natural disasters occured on a daily basis as the planet aided by mana began developing a consciousness,

rifts holding demonic entities litter the world and....yet humanity fight each other as corrupt politicians grasp for power and Human magicians the only hope for the world are purged and hunted as witches.

Aileus chuckled lightly resembling a classic jolly grandpa if said grandpa had a six pack abs and was one of the strongest people in existence "Who writes so formally in a personal Diary, this lady sounds so full of herself!, isn't that right my friend" said Aileus as he turned and looked at a man strapped to a chair gagged and tied with iron chains with multiple bruises and burn marks apparent on his body

The man only whimpered in response having lost the will to live a long time ago

I am grateful to you for bringing me this artifact if it had fallen in wrong hands it might have caused them to have gotten some funny ideas" Aileus then threw the book into the open fireplace and got up and fixed the badge he wore on his chest depicting a burning heart with a broken wand engraved in it alongside the words LOATHE THE WITCH

it was the fire heart medal awarded to him for killing Grandmagus Jack Aurelian or as he was better known to the public

Flames gathered around Aileus before turning blood red and twisting into the shape of a great horned Demon which rushed at the bound man and in an explosion of blood red fire the man had disappeared completely leaving behind no trace

Aileus sighed in bliss as a fraction of his kill's

life force was absorbed into him making him seem a few years younger

He seemed to go deep in thought before smiling"Guards apprehend anyone with the last name Asmodeus descendants of a Grandmagus should have a lot of life force

it is about time to become young again "

Few people wearing Grey armor seem to appear out of no where and they some in a chorus "YES GOVERNOR GENERAL" before they vanished

Aileus then sat down in his seat and began sipping tea as if the events of the day were a usual occurrence.
