1 Chapter 1 Cat

Packing up his things Wu Bey was ready to leave his apartment but before he could leave He glanced at a small study table, beside the lamp there was a blood colored notebook placed neatly at the center

wearing his glasses without a second thought He picked up his phone and bringed the scary looking notebook with him he placed the notebook next to his regular one and reached to grab the doorknob.

*besides no one will take this away , from the looks of it someone would mistake it that this thing was taken from a crime scene.

Wu Bay's fingers gripped the doorknob he hesitated and gave off a warm sunny smile it felt like a person who haven't experienced despair in his life for a long time.

He turned the doorknob and locked the door he was about to leave when a man's voice could be heard calling his name.

At the end of the corridor you could see a man's figure running,every step he makes was like tossing a bowling ball in a quiet place

it gave off a big ruckus to people who are still sleeping on their bed.

After sometime you could recall the shadow

It was a man wearing the same uniform like Wu Bey it runned to slow like he isn't used to it

And gasp hardly.

holding his handbag the person suddenly shouts at a narrow corridor where no one except them are out.

"Xiao Wu! Wait up!!", Wu Bey hesitated then replied with a cold tone

"it's already past 8 why are you still here?" He stared at Lin Bai's eyes focusing on the man's pupils

"I swear I slept early, it's just that I didn't set my alarm clock.." Lin Bai replied with a sincere face not noticing that the man he's talking to was studying him

Wu Bey tried his best to remain his warm smile they say tommorow is another day but who could have thought that tomorrow was like yesterday, he glanced at the young man once then walked towards the stairs.

He started following Wu bey whose heading down stairs

"Brother Wu can I join you.. well we're heading to the same school after all" Lin Bai replied with a pleasing voice.

The man tried his best to pursue Xiao Wu but the guy wasn't effected as if he was talking to the air.

Wu Bey was about to leave the building when he felt a tug on his shirt a man with a morning hair stood behind Wu Bey

Wu Bey was slightly taller and was more matured than Lin Bai even tho he was quiet younger than the man.

After a few seconds of silence Lin Bai spoked while looking at his shoes.

"I promise we will arrive school sooner before the class hours started I won't be a burden to you I'll keep my mouth shut."Lin Bai replied as if he already know he was going to be rejected so he could only lure you to feel for his trap.

Wu Bey has no choice but to bring this man with him ,They left the building and walked ahead to school.

sunlight cearse trough their skin making their uniforms soaked in sweat It felt like they've been walking for hours already

Wu Bey and Lin Bai's apartment is just 3 blocks ahead to their campus the reason why many students accupied Evey apartment in the building.

They were about to turn right to another ally when something brush Trough the bushes.

Wu Bey approach it but the thing inside turned tranquile then a head and two small paws poked out.

A thin grey cat with a broken leg stared at Wu Bey for a long time, Seeing the poor fella Wu Bey was relieved

he thought it was a stray dog and would rush forward to bite Wu Bey's hand when he least expected.

While Wu Bey was thinking the grey cat made it's move to Wu Bey seeing the backpack that was placed on the ground, he sniffed and scratch the left pocket.

but before it even does it Wu Bey picked the cat and placed it right before him

Staring at the cat Wu Bey then spot a long wound revealing the cats bone.

If Wu Bey wasn't a medical student he would definitely leave the cat with no second thought

"luckily we found you if not for us you would have died by the hands of many stray dog they would tear your skin off and break your bones one by one."

Wu Bey's response made Lin Bai's skin crawl even the cat wants to get away from Wu Bey's shadow,It felt really uncomfortable for the little guy.

"Xiao Wu your scaring the little kitty"Lin Bai awkwardly laugh but Wu Bey didn't mind him he just kept his gaze focused on the cats wound.

Lin Bai felt so bored by the scenery he's looking at,he tilted his head and spotted Wu Bey's bag left at the corner a chilled draft runned down his spine just by staring it can make you shiver.

He walked near it and picked the bag up he soon inspect the pockets but didn't find anything off it was just a normal backpack

Holding the the backpack Lin Bai saw a blood red notebook pooked out from the man's bag he could see the dried blood stains on the journal's cover,curiosity drived him away he was about to open the first page but suddenly frozed hearing Wu Beys voice.

"Xiao Lin‽"

Wu Bey saw Lin Bai acting strange to cut off the mood he decided to let Lin Bai feed the cat while he tie the cat's leg with a plane towel.

"B-brother Wu did you call me?"

"get the thing on my bags left pocket" Wu Bey points his backpacks pocket to Lin Bai

"sure..is it this biscuit?'' Lin Bai replied with a hoarse voice

Wu Bey looked at the pale arms trembling violently while reaching out the biscuit to him.

"you feed the cat while I'll cure his wound don't spoil all of it to him."Wu Bey replied while glaring at Lin Bai

from a far you could see his pupils carved in a twisted way making it look like a cats eye even under his glasses

Lin Bai noticed it and asked Wu Bey directly"Xiao Wu?"

"hmm?"Wu Bey replied coldly

"have you ever notice something strange in your eyes?"Lin Bai said while staring at Wu beys eyes it felt weird like staring to a cats eye.

"how could you tell?"Wu Bey replied while tying the towel to the cats leg.

"its just that your pupils are…different"

Wu Bey thought the kid was lying but when he looked into Lin Bai's eye he saw fear and worry.

Wu Bey hesitate "i always got eye pains everynight they say it happens because i often wear glasses"he got up and walked forward leaving Lin Bai behind.

he glanced back and said "don't push your self into it, let's go."

Lin Bai soon accompany him they both walked to the schools gate, approaching the big black gates one of the gaurds on duty asked them..
