11 Ch 11 Green world Bug World

The suns radiance was eaten up greedily by a forest with Huge trees. These trees weren't just 'Big', they had far surpassed the height of Earths largest redwood tree. Some of them even reached the size of skyscrapers, with the width of buildings.

Any normal person would be able to tell that they were not on earth anymore.

Adam, had taken several weeks to develop this biome. Having split the golden seeds soul in many parts he'd distributed it out into his world.

Since eating a part of his soul, the seed's and Adams, souls were connected spiritually. Since his soul had mutated so weirdly it couldn't be used to create new souls. But, the Golden seeds infinitely growing soul didn't share his incapability's, it was able to split into tiny portions, there in by, essentially creating new but still somewhat connected souls.

Adam, was somewhat surprised by how simple the solution was. He'd even began to consider whether his original universe had a similar layout.

He worked hard hard with Isaac in researching the exact cycle needed to maintain the growth of the forest.

For the most part, Adam was satisfied, but he knew that though his forest might look grand it was really only growing like this because of the energy he was providing it.

For one, he had to keep providing the world an excess amount of carbon, since the dense foliage's kept breathing most of it in within a couple of hundred years. A problem, that for now had no solution because only plant life grew on the world.

This forest obviously wasn't normal. In addition to the sunlight and water that normal trees use to create energy. these trees also ate upon the contaminated spiritual energy that was released from the sun.

A few days ago, or a few hundred years ago, going by his universe's time, Adam had made the discovery that he could now open portals wherever he wanted within his universe.

The 'contaminated energy' that looked to be originating from the sun, was really coming from the portal that he had placed in the core of the sun. Since Adam, wanted to create a world different from earth, he'd decided to introduce his world to the inexhaustible energy known as Spirit energy to see how it would effect his world.

After closer observation using color vision. Adam, came to find out that the spirit energy that mixed with the elements of the universe began to change. Hot spirit energy spewed from the sun and depending on where the energy landed, it could turn into, Cold, Mineral(y),windy, or fiery, elemental spirit energy. Adam, unoriginally decided to call this tainted spirit energy Mana.

At first Adam, saw no difference between the plants here and the plants on earth. But, after fast forwarding a couple of hundred years, new variant's of wildlife that fed on Spirit energy began to appear.

These plants all shared similar characteristics. Most of them were way sturdier and taller then their past iterations.

The fauna, in hotter situated territories began to grow densely in spite of the low amount of water around. Some, even grew taller because of the hot Qi they absorbed. One such tree that was currently Adams favorite had ripen fruits that tasted like sweet hot peppers. The most interesting aspect of this tree was that it looked like a trail of fire was circling on the from side to side on the fruit.

Another place where fauna was growing densely was the Below freezing temperature areas. Even in places where snow and ice towered tens of feet, wildlife was still able to find a way to survive.

.....

Adam was focused, He was preparing to do something incredible.

'In these high oxygen environments only one organism will have the ability to, not only survive, but thrive." he thought. His eyes were a piercing glowing blue as he began.

Matter and particles, which usually weren't visible to the human eye, could be seen cleary floating about. It looked like a large amount of flying dust that was coagulating.

Bugs, are a very successful but limited species on earth. Even with their small size and their robotic like characteristics, they've still managed to survive and prosper all over the world.

If it was just issued by the total population, as well as, the amount of land mass an organisism has managed to live on, then the bugs would receive the trophy.

So why with all of this being said are they not even a contender for the dominator of earth? Because of their limited growth.

( I feel like i'm explaining earths biology to some aliens, but please bear with me)

Scientists have stated many hypothesis on this, but one of the leading theories is, because of their biology as it relates to their oxygen intake capacity as well as their exoskeletal make up, It limits their size.

For the first one, Oxygen. Insects breatheing arparatus consists of hole like breathing organs named Spiracles. These Spiracles, connect to a tube known as Traechae. Trachae, absorbs oxygen and dispels carbon.

This organ system works fine for smaller beings, but in larger creatures these organs would be impractical. Bigger bugs reguire bigger Traechae for more oxygen. The Traechae would eventually get too big and start inhibiting the growth of other organs within the bug.

Adam, had to replace the Traechae organ for his bugs with a more spongy organ, that could aborb air more efficiently and compactely.

The second reason that causes limited growth in bugs are their exoskeletin. Unlike, endoskeletal systems, the exoskeletal system is used by bugs to keep their inner organs from drying up, as well as providing them a form of protection.

The exoskeletin also doesn't continuously grow, like an endoskeletal system. Intead a molding procedure allows for an insect to form new exoskeletin. This process would require way to much energy for a larger bug, not to mention the risk of predatation as well as the gravitational effects, would most likely impede if not completely kill a big bug.

With all of that being fact, Adam if he wished to create massive bugs, would have to find a solution for these problems.

.....

According to Adams universes time....

Many months have passed. Inside of Adams labratory on the Blue star, many insects were hooked up in Vats and fed a continous stream of Mana energy.

Adam, sat on his chair and while looking at the schematics of his creations on paper, he began to smile.

He was finally done. He had managed to create the first fully formed organism on the Blue star.

He moved, and walked to a clear vat that held eight pairs of humongous worm like creatures. These creatures would be his first to release into the wild. They were no bigger then a anoconda, upon their birth, but later they would be able to grow to the size of buildings. A few hundred years ago, when he was creating plants, Adam had discovered an ability from the golden seed. It allowed him to view the DNA of creatures in a more visualistic form. Thereinby, allowing him to asthetically characterize his creations.

Adam had chosen to release this monster first, because it was the creation, that had the most godly capabilities. In terms of Mana, he had given them an instinctual intuinment for it. Allowing for these creatures to use abilities like phryokinesis, cryokinesis, Geokinesis, and the most special gravitational control.

Even though these creatures were godly, Adam controlled their reproductive capabilities, allowing them only to be able to procreate once every hundred years, allowing them twenty offsprings in their two thousand year lifespan.

Adam hadn't influenced their brains, aside from given them human like intelligence, he didn't urge them to act good or evil.

At last he decididely released them all in a huge forest below a mountain that looked like the spine of a humongous Spinosaurus.

....

The worms, for the first hundred years acted like how Adam thought they would. With reckless abandon, the creatures destroyed wherever path they trailed over. Eating up forest of trees and obliterating any landmark they pleased.

With them having no competition as

well as an excess amount of resources they all managed to survive without even the slightest of setbacks. Their numbers increased from eight to sixteen. in these hundred years.

Adam, released the other bugs he had in his repertoire. None being as powerful as the wormKings, but most being way more powerful then the animals on Earth.

He'd chosen to release these bugs far away from the wormKings.

In the next thousand years Adam had observed a volly of interesting sights. Some, bugs naturally became intuined with some form of mana. Some others grew bigger and could now stomp trees into paste. And to his surprise, some bugs evolved to become smaller. These bugs were the size of normal bugs on earth.

Over the years, the various bugs have managed to spread around the entirety of the continent that Adam had restricted them to.

Every day scuffles of epic proportions would take place between alpha predators. The wormKings being his strongest creations would sometimes destroy hives of other insects, coming unscathed every time.

With the worms being his most favored, Adam watched them closely. He noticed how arrogant they had become. with their human teenage level intellect they saw other bugs as merely being fodder for them to kill. They reveled in their destruction.

Even with these beings of Slaughter around, the population of bugs still advanced greatly. Some even took to the sea, becoming either plankton like beings who fed on algae and the likes, or sea monsters who fed on other sea monsters.

In short Adam had created a world of dangerous but wonderfully diverse bugs. He smiled while looking at some other vats of creatures he had yet to realease. These creatures looked like a mixture of bug and man, even though the wormKings had been his most favored creations, These were his favorite.

He was preparing to release them into the wild, but first he had to give them some form of protection, otherwise with their generally weaker forms they would not be able to survive even a year outside.

Operation bug kingdom is a go.
