6 Raelus (Pt.1)

*Blue Day*

"Hurry up! Let's go! We might get late!"

"This is so exciting, it's been decades since we've been this lively."

"Well things right now are truly worth this kind of liveliness don't you think?"

"Yes specially now that the Priestess is out of seclusion and there's a possibility that she'll lead the Blue Day instead of the Lord of the Peak. Not that I don't want the Lord of the Peak to be the host but you know, it's the Priestess."

"I understand"

"Praise the One True God"

"Praise Him"

Hurries steps, excited whispers and people are adorned with their finest linen clothes and proudest ornaments and jewelries as they move hastily towards their destination.

The servants are also much more enthusiastic in doing their task.

'Ah yes, the Blue Day'

Sun thought as the servants hurriedly prepare everything for her.

Just a few months ago should be the exact day that Sun turned one — a year has passed since she had transmigrated to this world.

But contrary to Sun's expectation, no celebration was held on that day as opposed to Earth's grand celebration of every 1 year old baby. That day just passed uneventfully— no gifts, no congratulations.

She could only sigh in disappointment. Unbeknown to her, she's been secretly excited for that day now that she has a family that loves her to celebrate with.

'Really different tradition'

She wondered at first if there's really no celebration held but the answer soon came out by itself.

A few weeks ago was when everyone started to get busy and delight could be felt in the atmosphere.

Sun thought it's because of the Priestess coming out of her seclusion— and yes she's right but it's not only the reason.

Blue Day.

The day where the world will be covered in blue light of the blue moon.

The mark of a new year.

And the day where everyone's aged increase.

Unlike in the Earth where birthdays are celebrated on the exact day that they were born, birthdays here are celebrated along with the start of a new year — the Blue Day.

A lot of singing and dancing, sumptuous feast, duels, gifts, ritual and important announcement would then be held that day.

'Economically speaking, it's very smart.'

She let out a relief smile knowing that there would be celebration held. One should know that in Sun's past life after the age of 4, her parents stopped visiting her altogether even during her birthdays and instead would deliver any gift she wanted.

'But it's not the gift that she really wanted'

And now that God gave her a new family, she wanted to fill in that craving and love that she lacked in her previous life.

'Since I'm turning greedy now'

She just stopped musing when she felt something touched her forehead.

"It's done!"

'It seems like their painting something at me.

"You're so beautiful miss!"

The servant held a somewhat large mirror in front of me. Sun then saw a white plump baby adorned with light blue linen clothes, various ornaments and paints in her face.

'What did they do to me'

A black pair of wings was painted in my forehead and in the space of it was a white crown and blue flames behind it.

And painted on her left cheek — just under her eye — is a blue long bar.

"Miss is truly beautiful"

"If not for being a little slow in the head, she would be considered the most beautiful and a fitting candidate for Priestess line"

"She still is! Don't talk nonsense"

The servants continued to gossip while occasionally looking at her in amazement until a hurried steps was heard and entranced a beautiful young boy.

"Sister!"

The young boy then proceeded to her without minding the servants — kissed her cheeks multiple times while cuddling her tightly mumbling 'fat' occasionally.

Sun protested and pouted but because she's still in the body of a plump cute baby it just resulted a cute protest earning a merry laugher from Wind.

"What is it that makes my prince laugh so happily?"

"Mother!"

Wind kissed and hugged mother with Sun still in his arms and proceeded to tell mother what happened earlier.

"You naughty boy, are you bullying your sister again?"

Mother reprimanded but there is no hint of it in her voice but instead was lace with happiness and humor.

Even mother is bullying her.

"Ya! Ya! Bully!"

"Sun!!!" Flustered, Wind called to her as if blaming her why would he betray him.

These exchanges earned laughter from their mother "Now, stop fooling around and let's go. I'm sure your father is already tire of waiting for us"

Their destination tonight is called the 'Scae' is a huge platform a level below from their 'Planca' where was held.

The clan lives in a massive that is surrounded by the sea of forest where powerful magical beast lies, even when looking at the forest from the peak, a person still cannot see the end of it.

The clan followed strict hierarchy as well, the more distinguished and noble a person's family and blood is, the closer they are to the peak— where magic particles are most dense.

The mountain is divided by 'Planca' and is further subdivided into low, mid and upper.

The foot of the mountain is called the 'Commoner's Planca' and true to it's name this is where commoners lived but people in the Commoner's Planca are far stronger and have always bred strong warriors since the this is where the magical beast first attack. The Commoner's Planca thus saves as the watch and stronghold of the mountain if any magical beast attack. They held a very important role contrary to their name so slights of the commoner are nowhere to be seen but is in fact, respect.

And further up from the Commoner's Planca is the Skilled Planca, The Market, The Scae, The Dragon's Den. The Noble's Plance and the Peak where the Priestess and the Aiv e Muli or the tree of life resides.
