Hello, this is going to explain the magic system!
--Magic Casting Abilities--
-Chanting- The caster chants an activation sentence in the language of Magica while imagining the spell-This method can take some time to use because of the chanting but is stable and has less chance of backfiring.
Chanting sub-class- Prayer- The caster says a prayer to whatever god/goddess(s) they worship in the language of Magica asking to borrow their power(the god's power)-This method is longer than normal chanting but uses divine power to form and fire a spell at the opponent, the drawbacks are that it's up to the god/goddess if they lend their power and you can get hurt easier if the god/goddess uses even a little too much of their mana.
Chanting sub-class- Demonic Prayer- The caster asks the god that made the demon for their power or they can ask the Demon King in the Magica language, but the strongest method is to ask both the demon god and the Demon King, nearly any demon that uses both explode but some can withstand it.-This method is shorter than Prayer but longer than normal chanting.
-Chant-less-
Chant-less magic is something that only masters or prodigies can use, they have gotten so good at mana control and spell formation that they can command it without the language of Magica-This form of magic is faster and stronger but has way more chance of backfiring because there is no stable base for the magic.
Chant-less sub-class-Prayer- This is only possible if one is loved by or interesting to the gods even then most gods/goddess deny it because it is considered disrespectful.
Chant-less sub-class-Demonic Prayer- It's not possible the demonic energy needs words as a vessel or else it will explode.
-Runes-
Runes- are symbols that the ancients made each symbol gathers massive amounts of energy but are extremely hard to control so most use one at a time.
Runes sub-class-Runic Circle- Runic Circles are runes tore apart and pieced into a magic circle they are strong but can't compare to Runes, each runic circle is formed by stringing mana into the circle so the amount of time can vary, beginners can take hours and grandmasters could do it in a few seconds.
--Magic Terms--
Mana- Mana is the natural essence that flows around the world and is what is necessary to activate spells and some skills
Spells- There are many ways to cast spells but it all comes down to one thing, the caster is using mana and shaping it into something to be used for them. Magic is a tool and a weapon it is not a plaything.
Skills- Skills are special attacks or movements. It could be a tank taunting or a swordsman quickly dashing through the targets! Skills have a base form and levels but they can evolve depending on how a person uses them!
Mana Pool- A Mana Pool is the mana someone is born with. Everyone has it but only some can use it and those people are spell casters. Mana Pools or Mana are rarely used for skills but they can be.
Mana Well- Mana wells are build-ups of mana that the earth releases for its inhabitants to use. Mana Wells are connected to Mana Veins. Mana Wells are also used by Nymphs and Dryads.
Mana Veins- Mana Veins are what carry mana around the world and can't be destroyed or touched. Where the Mana Veins get the mana is unknown.
