The Woman At The Alley

In a dark alley, a woman woke up feeling sore all over. Her eyes fleeting everywhere, wondering about on the alley where she is. She looked uneasy at her dirty dress, questions forming on her mind, "why am i dirty?". Then she tried to recall what happened, then she gasp and sit at once, "who am i?" "why am i here?"

Her head hurts like hell, she tried to calm herself and stable her nerves. After a few minutes, she tried to stand supporting herself by the wall and walks slowly and unsteadily out of the dark alley unto the street. The light on the street post blinks on and off and her silhouette posed a mysterious aura around her. she subconciously continous to walk across the street without a care and afterward heard a loud screeching sounds towards her and she felt darkness overwhems her...

A buzzling and beeping sounds echoing around her seeped into her unconcious mind while struggling to open her eyes. What she saw is a tall muscular man with sharp eyes dressed in a dark suit and a man with a white coat wearing a spectacle rimmed eyeglasses. A croaked hoarse voice was heard, "who are you?" "where am I?"

With the sounds, the man in a white coat said, "I am Dr. Yu, your doctor and you are in the hospital, how are you? You have no ID with you. What's your name so we can notify your family.?"

A bewildered expression came to her face and fleeting emotions can be seen on her face while struggling to answer him. At last, with a shocked expression, she answered " I...I...I don't know! As uncontrolled tears flowed down on her face, she tried to cover her face with her hands while sobbing silently.

Dr. Yu said, "it is alright, you had an accident, you seem to have an amnesia because of the shock. It will come back to you in due time. your head scans look alright and everything is normal. "

The man in the dark suit said, "Dr. Yu please take care of her and i will take care of all the expenses, just put it in my name". and turning to the woman on the bed, he gently said "Miss, do not worry and just get well. What shall we call you for the time being? Is it okay if we call you Rose?

Her voice croaking, asked "who are you?"

The man said, veiling his eyes by lowering his eyelids, " my name is Luigi Matthews and i got you to this hospital when you crossed the street and my car hit you."

"Yes, you may call me Rose, any name is okay", she mumbled to herself. Then she looked at the doctor and asked, "will my memory come back? When can i go out of this hospital? "

As Dr. Yu sighs, "time can only tell, it will come back naturally and you may be discharged in a day or two since you have no concussions and everything seems normal. for now, just rest and sleep when medicine takes over."

I can't help that my eyes are becoming heavier and heavier and whispered, "thank you."
