7 Chapter 7: Blurred Forest

[Mc pov]

After walking away from Kaguya, I picked a random building, walking inside as I smiled. It was fine if she didn't understand, or if she wanted to defend him, the heart is a strange thing.

'This is getting old, it's already 10:00, well here goes nothing.' I think to myself , picking a random classroom, sliding the door back, only to have eyes shoot at me.

"Um? Can I help you young man?" The young female teacher spoke.

"Yeah.. sorry about this, can anyone tell me.. where class 2-D is? I'm kinda lost." Opening the door, my oversized, black sweatshirt sleeve, came up my arm a little, scratching the back of my head, while I asked with a smile.

"It's 10.. so your late?" The female teacher said, looking at how tall I was and my smile.

"Yeah I'm sorry.. kinda new, didn't know where I was going, left my log at home so.. yeah.".

"Very well, it's the fifth building.." the teacher was going to say, before i felt a tap on my back.

"I'll help you, I know where the class is.. Yuko sensei.." a pretty voice said from behind, the sound hitting my ears, while my memory flooded with thoughts of the past.

"Oh, fine, it's fine please help him.." the teach said, for some reason having respect in her voice.

Before I even turned around, I closed the classroom door, seeing the students look away, watching as many had strange faces. Smiling a little, I turn knowing how this was going to go.

"Thank you for helping me.." I said, looking down at the slightly tall, white haired girl, her hair had looped braids in the back, while in a bun, pale skin, blue lip stick, and almost other worldly blue eyes.

"It is my pleasure, can't have students unable to get to there class room, lucky i was walking by, I can show you." The girl said with a small smile, looking at my face.

"I would be grateful if you could, this school is huge, it threw me for a loop.. I just want to get to class, so I'm in your hands.." i said, seeing her face only move a little.

"Right this way, by the way.. what was your name again?" She turned around, I guess wanting me to follow.

"Oh, it's aruka, aruka endo.. yours?" Putting my hands in my pocket, I followed behind her.

"Your classroom, is in the 5th building, it is the building the most left of the library. It is on the 3rd floor.. try not to forget." She completely ignored my question, I could see her shoulders move a little.

'If you refuse to acknowledge me, I will do the same.. or are you still mad at me?' Thinking, I followed behind her, looking at the leaves dance outside the window, hearing the taps of her shoes, while my mind melted away a little.

For a while we walked, reaching the door I came in at, opening it, as the bright sun filled the hall, I watched her white hair blow in the wind, she still reminded, acting like she was ineffective by my words. Walking behind her, I looked up to the sky a little, not really knowing what to say, seeing we kind of moved away from the place we were supposed to be going, to a path that lead to a Fountain. A sign that said library, and study hall, only to stop.

"Did you forget me.." she spoke, this time the serious voice from earlier was gone, watching her slowly turn around, my eyes opened a little more, seeing her face a little. At the edge of her eyes, there was tears, looking at me with her beautiful blue eyes.

The words she spoke, didn't feel like she was talking to me, but the actual me, her face, that had a tiny smile, while her voice sounded so distant. The wind stopped, frozen in this moment, the silence, and the sun above melted well together.

"Could you.. really have.. forgo.." she tried to get out, her voice, sounding even more with how she felt in this moment, in this silent forest.

"What? What are you.. talking about..?" Closing my eyes, I tilted my head a little, smiling at her, watching as she took a step back from me.

"..it's, it's nothing, your class is all the way down, to the left.. have a good day, Ruka.." Her voice, had completely lost the seriousness, the more she spoke, the more distance it felt like there was, until the last part came out as a whisper.

'It is said, no matter how distant the memories are, even though the mind try's to blur, blur so many of the things we, that we truly care about.. it is said, the heart.. it never forgets..' she turned her back, to me, I had felt this before, the strange feeling that makes it feel, like words are not enough, that maybe what needs to be said, is blurred by what you pushed away.

'Why are you making.. that face you had back then? Is this how you felt?' I thought, watching the sun move, making the shade of the leaves, look like the world, was stuck in place. Taking a step forward, my feet carrying me, with out me actually knowing it.

"..Like I could, ever forget you.." the world does as it always does, even at the times we hate, or wish to forget, or in our happiest moments, it keeps moving, her hair dances, the strands at the side blew, for her the world was still in that silent moment. Turning slowly, the wind kicked up, blowing cherry blossoms around us, my long black hair, danced while the petals moved around me. Matching my black hair, and green eyes.

"..Kira.." closing my eyes, I placed my hand on her forehead, flicking it lightly, then placed my hand at her head. Tilting my head slightly, as a smile that came from the warmth I felt, made its way to my face.

"..ruka!.." under her eyes, red could be seen, while tears couldn't stop, saying nothing, I pull her into my chest, feeling her grip my sweatshirt, while I place my chin on her head.

"..it's been so long.. I'm sorry, Kira."

(Hope you enjoy, the next chapters, well the volume, is of a time passed, well after Kira's pov. Let me know what you think.)
