7 I Thank God for Giving Me This Chance

Liu Lan then asked to distract her family from imagining too much. "Dad, mom, I'll go to school next week. Is it okay?"

Liu Deming replied concernly, "Are you really okay? Can your body stand it?" Although doctors had said that she was okay and only need to exercise according to the set they gave, Liu Deming still thought her body was still too week.

Liu Lan nodded to affirm. "Ye dad. I'm okay." She had been idle for almost three months. Indeed, she exercised for her recovery but aside that, she did nothing. She only read books or watched dramas that were available in the house. Because she felt bored, she decided to go to school. Her body was still weak but it didn't hinder her to go to school as she only need to sit down and listen to what teachers were explaining.

Liu Deming looked at his wife. Only after the latter nodded her head, then he reluctantly agreed. "Okay. We'll arrange it." He was distressed with this matter but his little daughter had decided so he could only agreed with her request.

Liu Lan eyes lit up when she heard the answer. She could finally go to school like any other people.

In her last lives, she didn't go to school. Instead, she was a home-schooling student since she was young. She always yearned to meet her peers in the holy ground named school but her wish was unfulfilled. Her identity was too sensitive so she could never appear in the public. Because if she did, her family's enemy would surely finish her off. One day, she decided to run away and she finally succeeded escaping from her family's clutch. During her days out there, she met the men whom later become her boyfriend.

She put her time and effort for him that she unconsciously neglected herself. So, her dreams and wishes gradually went to the back of her mind as her focus was solely for her boyfriend. It was not until now, when she had no more relationship with him and live a new live did her wishes emerged. Because she decided to live her life, she truly decided to do everything she yearned to.

Seeing Liu Lan excited face, everyone looked at each other and smiled. Liu Lan after wake up was completely different with previous Liu Lan they knew before coma. At that time, Liu Lan acted like an arrogant young brat, probably because she was pampered from child and she had a good background. She was stubborn and too overbearing. She would throw tantrum whenever she wanted something. She liked to force what she was thinking to others. And most importantly, Liu Lan was a lazy young girl. She didn't like to go to school. Instead of studying at school, she went to the hall for shopping with some profligate friends of hers or went to spend their money elsewhere.

"Oh dad, please arrange me into my old school. I do not want to go to other schools."

Everyone was taken aback. Liu Lan was a troublemaker when she was studying in the school. There were plenty of people who dislike her. If she went to the same school, would she just be bullied and octrasized by the others?

Seeing the determination in her eyes, everyone relented. They would not believe her words if she was the old Liu Lan but now, she was different. Her behavior assured everyone that she would do as what she speak.

Almost week passed in a blink of eyes. When Liu Lan said that she wanted to go to school last Monday, Liu Deming ordered his secretary to prepare and sent the documents needed for Liu Lan to resume studying to the school. They waited not for an hour before the request was accepted.

Shen Mingzhu helped Liu Lan preparing her school uniform while Liu Jianjun and Liu Jianyu brought Liu Lan to bookstore and stationary store respectively.

Liu Lan was overwhelmed by their care. In the past life, her family treated each other like acquaintances. They would only talk or intervened when the situation forced them. They would normally talk to each other as if they were talking to strangers. So, when she experienced this warmth, she felt content. Her thought flew back on the day when the grim reaper said about how God gave her this chance because He pitied her. Liu Lan thought inwardly as the corner of her mouth lifted upward.
