A Kid Like You Shouldn't Meddle with Adult Problem

After she woke up, the woman who was now assuming the identity of Liu Lan fell into a deep contemplation. What her current body experiencing was not unexpected. Like in her previous life, someone with a high standing and immense wealth would invite jealousy whenever he went. Unknowingly, three months had passed since Liu Lan wake up from her coma. During that time, she followed the rehabilitation arrangement made by the doctors. It was tiring but at the same time she was excited. The healthier she was, the sooner she could begin executing everything she planned to do. "Second brother, where is mom?" Liu Lan asked her second brother, Liu Tianyu who was eating his breakfast. There were only the two of them in the house. Liu Tianjun was working outstation to conduct a check up to his vehicle company out there while their father was working in their Liu Empire as the President-CEO.

Liu Tianyu was a bit different from his older brother. His company involved in marketing and public relation area. Although it was equally troublesome field of work, he had more free time compared to his elder brother and his father. He only needed to oversee his company once in a while and move forward when there was some problems arise. Aside that, he stayed at home most of the time, giving outsiders impression that he was a layman. "I don't know." Liu Tianyu shrugged his shoulders with his eyes were still on his afternoon supper. His face looked solemn. He kept silence during eating. After that, without saying any words, he went back to his room.

Liu Lan frowned. Her brother was in no way a taciturn person after interacting with him for these three months. When she asked a question, he would always answer it in a full and well explained sentence. this morning, he was still a chatterbox but now why did he suddenly so silent?

She waited for her mother to ask about her brother sudden peculiar behavior.

Liu Lan waited her mother in the living room for almost two hours. She was reading an economic book while waiting because it was a waste of time for doing nothing in her idle time. She waited for another one hour before Shen.. graceful figure could be seen from the entrance. Soon as shen.. when in, Liu Lan gave her a glass of water before she asked her mother. "Mom, why is borther so silent?"

Shen… lifted her eyebrow in surprise."Really?"

Liu Lan nodded. "yes mom. Earlier I asked him about your whereabouts and he just said he didn't know. Is there something wrong with him?"

"How can you be sure that there was something wrong with your brother?" Shen… asked Liu Lan. Her daughter became more attentive to her family after she woke up from coma. Although she was still as stubborn as she was in the past, this change of her completely made everyone loved her more. Then, she heard Liu Lan answered, "If he was just become silent all of sudden, I won't ask about it to you. But he looked troubled."

Shen Mingzhu sighed, "It was probably an old problem."

"What is it mom?" Liu Lan asked curiously.

She didn't answer Liu Lan question. She beckoned Liu Lan to sit on her seat while she headed to Liu Tianyu room in the second floor. Hearing no answer after she knocked it for a few times, she sighed helplessly. He wnet back to the living room and said to Liu Lan. "Forget it. We'll wait your father and eldest brother to come back. Why don't you help me to prepare dinner while waiting for them to return home?"

"Okay mom." Liu Lan put the book she was reading on the coffee table and followed her mother to the kitchen.

The sun almost set to the end of the horizon, leaving some sliver of golden light that gradually died down along with the darkness that enclosed the earth.

Right after Liu Lan and her mother set the cutleries and food on the table, Liu Deming and Liu Jianjun came back home. Liu Deming returned from Liu Empire while Liu Jianjun was indeed supposed to return today. Shen Mingzhu then called Liu Jianyu to come down to the kitchen.

The family of five ate the sumptuous dinner happily. It was just Liu Jianyu sometimes frowned and sighed that made everyone looked at him, concerned about what had happened to him. Shen Mingzhu asked her second son. "What happen to you? Is it related about her again?" Without even her son said about the matter that burdening him, Shen Mingzhu could immediately knew the reason because she knew her children too well.

Liu Jianyu nodded. Liu Deming and Liu Jianjun gave him a lokk 'as expected' while Liu Lan had really no idea about it. So, she curiously asked, "Who is she that you are reffering to mom?"

Shen Minghu was just about to reply when Liu Jianyu said coldly, "A kid like you should not meddle with adult problem."
