29 Rescue Mission!
The chime attracted Ivan's attention, it was a new quest mission.

While Ivan reading the new mission, Naina said to Thea in an incredulous tone, "No, a crime such as this shouldn't be judged so cruelly."
"Yeah, the crime for theft is not this cruel but these two guys have stolen the Healing potion from 'Paison's shop'. The family that owns it does not go lenient on thieves that target their shops. Plus, they have a big influence over the guards of the City as many descendants of their family serve in the city guards regiment and that also at high positions." Thea explained.
Naina was deeply worried now. She looked at Ivan and said, "Ivan, what should we do?"
She could not help but think about the little girl they had saved just a night before. Ivan was also worried but he couldn't think of any way in which he could help Eva's father.
'This mission does not have any punishment that means I can choose not to complete it but... ' Ivan sighed as he couldn't bring himself to ignore the mission.
Ivan suddenly thought of the main mission which was to reach the White tiger City before sunrise or else he would be captured by the bandits. Therefore, if he decides to go back now, won't he have the risk of getting captured by the bandits who might still be looking for him and Naina.

"Huh?" Ivan was confused by the system's reply.
"Ivan?" Naina nudged Ivan with her arm.
Ivan looked at Naina who seem to be hoping that he could have a way to help resolve this matter.
"Naina, there is nothing you and Ivan can do to help or you might also get implicated. Since the city guards had gone after them, they will definitely catch and bring those two thieves back for trial. They.." Thea tried to dissuade Ivan and Naina from thinking of any foolish idea but she was suddenly stopped by Ivan in between.
"You said they will bring them back for trial?"
"Yes, the guards will definitely try to bring them back alive and then put them on a trail or you can say public executing to show what happens to robbers if they target Paison's Shop," Thea explained.
Ivan seemed to suddenly understand the System's meaning after listening to Thea's explanation. Ivan suddenly found a way to clear the task.
Ivan stared at Thea and used the appraisal ability on her to check her stats only to get startled.

'Oh!' Ivan felt the explanation reasonable. Also, knowing that Thea was strong and also had three acquired abilities, Ivan felt his idea to be feasible.
"Miss Thea, you are a fighter, and that also a strong one, right?" Ivan asked.
"Yeah, but what about it... wait, do you want me to kill the city guards that have gone after the two thieves?" Thea was somewhat taken aback by Ivan's question but it was not hard to guess why he would ask her that question. As for how and why Ivan thought she was strong, Thea did not ask him.

Ivan wanted to ambush the city soldiers on their way back to the city after they had apprehended Eva's father.
Of course, they won't kill anyone, they were only going to create a distraction with the help of Thea and then rescue the two guys before running away with them to someplace safe.
Ivan and Thea would have their faces covered so that the city guards cannot identify them.
"Ivan, Naina, do you two really want to take such a big risk to help a family and a village that you owe nothing. Once things go wrong and your identity gets exposed, there will be no saving you two from becoming wanted criminals." Thea asked them.
"... I won't be able to sleep at night if I don't do this. I didn't save Eva just to let her see the destruction of her village," Ivan said.
"It's the same for me," Naina said right after Ivan and looked at Thea with pleading eyes.
Thea suddenly smiled said, "Alright, I will help you but I have a better plan. A way in which we do not need to unnecessarily fight the city guards and everything can be resolved through words and a little bit of money and my reputation. . . Just hope the guards are not idiots who just want to please the family behind Paison's shop."
Thea glanced at Ivan, smiling. She then told Ivan that they should hurry or else the city guards might come back and once that happens there is no saving anyone.
"Thank you, miss Thea. Wait here, I will bring my wolf. it would be faster if we rode on him." Ivan immediately hurried back inside the Inn.
"Fenrir, I need you to help me once more, come with me," Ivan said to Fenrir as he unlocked the door and let the wolf come out.
But when he came back with Fenrir, Ivan saw a young man standing near Naina. They were hugging each other.
