Chapter 5

-The wolf went back to the dark place and transformed into Roger. He kneeled before the queen,

"I am very sorry my queen, I could not get the Leonin that you were asking for" he said

"It is alright, Roger, what about the demon hunter?"

"Alucard?"

"Yes"

"He is badly injured, your highness, due to the monster's attack, I mean your warrior's attack "

"Excellent, my beloved warriors have done their job, and you too Roger, well done for getting those knights away from my beloved warriors"

"Thank you my queen"

"The demon hunter....still no companions?"

"N-none your highness"

"Poor him..well then, Leomord get Helcurt ready for tomorrow, with that injury, make sure that wretch of a demon hunter is gone forever, if there is any interference, get RID of them, I'll be expecting, Leomord, the downfall of Tigreal, without his comrades, we will rule the world! DO NOT FAIL ME"

"Yes my queen" Leomord replied

"This will be fun...hahaaBWAHAHAHA"-

Alucard, Ruby, Harith and Nana got back home, Ruby assisting Alucard to sit on the chair, Harith carrying their weapons. Just as Ruby puts Alucard in the chair gently,

"I have some extra bandages and some herbs that will heal your injured arm and the pain Alucard"

"Thank you Nana and thank you Red"

Harith put the huge sword and the scythe aside for awhile and takes off, leaving, Ruby takes Alucard blue coat and his shirt off carefully, to not cause any more pain to him, with his shirt removed, his chest has somewhat burned, and his back is red and dark purple. His shoulder turning dark violet and red, Alucard tried to move his arm, but he groans in pain and couldn't move his arm freely. Nana puts some herbs on Alucard's chest, his back his shoulder and his arm, then Nana gently wraps the bandages around his chest, his shoulder to his arm.

"You should rest"

"Th-Thank you Nana" said Alucard

"I'm so sorry Alucard, if it wasn't for me....you would not get hurt..." Nana said

"What are you talking about?" asked Ruby

"I was just so curious and excited to see the Land of Dawn, and explore the nearby area, I got all three of you into this mess.....I'm sorry..."

"So....you weren't napping?" asked Ruby

"When the both of you went outside, I quickly standed up and asked Harith for a tour.....he agreed, we went running..... and running and see many beatiful sights. And then we played in the forest, suddenly, a huge monster grabbed me and another grabbed Harith quickly....so I shouted for help, and you guys came..... and saved me..." Nana said, tearing up a little bit

"Nana...." Alucard said

"No...that is not true" Harith stated as he went inside with a basket of food in his hand and placed them down the table.

"But Harith-"

"I suggested to Nana to come with me and explore the land. When she woke up, after the two of you leave, because she really is excited to explore, she could not do it because she was thinking that both of you will be mad at her, all she can is to follow and rest. I said that the both of us should explore but she declined the offer so, I said to her that, 'Don't worry, I'll take care of it'....I'm the one who got all of you in danger...I'm sorry..."

"Harith.....next time, be careful, don't make rushed decisions....understand?" Alucard said,

"Yes Alucard.."

"Harith....." Nana whispered

Harith sat down next to Nana. Ruby removes her hood and eyepatch, placing it on a chair and then proceeds to get the basket and get some vegetables and washed it outside from a clean water. Harith, Nana and Alucard was left confused. She was chopping carrots, and boiling some water in a pot above a fire place. After a few minutes, she gets four bowls from the cabinet and places them on the table. She removes the pot with the handle and a cloth from the fireplace and lets the pot cool down a little, and gently pours soup in the bowls, trying not to spill. The aroma of the soup, Harith sniffs and,

"It smells delicious"

"Let's eat then hehe" Ruby said.

Harith and Nana gets their bowls carefully, they blow it to cool down the soup a little bit, and sips the soup.

"This. is. so. amazing" Nana said

"I agree with Nana!" Harith said while sipping the soup.

"I didn't know you can make soup, Red"

"Hehe"

Alucard tries to get his bowl, but ended up hissing in pain, and couldn't get his bowl right, because of how awkward his right hand is, with the demon claws and such.

"Here, let me help you out" Ruby said, as she gets a spoon from the cabinet then sits next to Alucard, getting his bowl, scooping with the spoon and blows it a little, and feeds Alucard. With hesitating, Alucard sips from the spoon. Rubh continues feeding Alucard, while two cats are staring at them.

"Are you sure you two are not a couple?" Harith asked out of the blue. Making Ruby stop, and blushes, Alucard turning slightly red.

"Uh uhm-"

"We're j-just fri-friends, right Alucard?"

"Oh....."

Ruby looked at him confused.

"I MEAN, we're just friends... ahaha" said Alucard

"You two make a great couple!" said Nana smiling at them,

Both Ruby and Alucard ignores it and continues what they were doing. After a while, everyone finished their soup

"Well time to rest everyone, especially you Alucard" Ruby stated.

Ruby helped Alucard onto the bed,

"No no no Red, you sleep here, I'm fine on the chair"

"You need to rest, and to rest better, you must sleep in this comfortable bed"

"No, you sleep here" Alucard said as he stands up, and falls down due to his weak legs from the battle.

"ARGH!!" cried Alucard

Ruby helps Alucard to stand and placed him on the bed,

"See, I told you, don't push yourself too hard, demon hunter" Ruby smiled, making Alucard slightly blush, and smiled back at her too.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, you need rest"

"Ruby, we'll be sleeping on the chair" said Nana

"You don't have any sheets?" Ruby said

"It's okay Ruby"

"Here have mine" Alucard offered

"No no no, you need that" said Nana

Ruby takes her red hood and gave it to Nana,

"Here, use this" Ruby handing her hood to Nana

"You don't have to-"

"I insist Nana" Ruby grins at her, Nana took the red hood,

"Thank you Ruby" Nana said, both Harith and Nana drifted off to sleep,

Ruby went back to Alucard and and sits beside Alucard on his right,

"Lie down"

"Okay okay Red"

Alucard lies down slowly, and finally resting his head on the soft pillow,

"Hey"

"Hmm?"

"Thank you for nursing me"

"Hehe, sleeeeeeep"

"But I really do mean it"

"Mean what?"

Alucard looks her, staring at those sparkling blue eyes, sinking into them, and slowly whispered to her,

"That you really have beautiful eyes, and you are beautiful"

Ruby then place her left hand to Alucard's right cheek, caressing the demon hunter's face, the demon hunter who suffered for months in the hands of terrifying demons, while he was still in a young age, Ruby can't bear to see him suffer. Alucard grabs Ruby's hand and kisses it, looking at Ruby. Ruby removes her hand, and Alucard closes his eyes and sleeps peacefully. Ruby smiling at him, and then remembers what just happened.....

Ruby went dark red, staring at her left hand, which Alucard kissed it gently. Ruby did the unthinkable and lies down next to Alucard, looking at his sleeping face,

'I think...I...have feelings for you...demon hunter' Ruby thought, and closes her eyes and sleeps.

After a few minutes,

Nana heard something coming out of tge house, she opened her eyes looking for something until she notices that Harith is gone. She quietly stands up to not wake Ruby and Alucard, and went outside, she looks for Harith everywhere, finally, she found him, nearby the house, sitting on the branch of a tree , glancing at the moon. Nana looks at him,

-Flashback-

'Maybe I'll get some air' Ruby said as she went outside, Alucard followed her.

As the two walks away, Nana stood up and stretched, turning to Harith,

'The Land of Dawn...finally here, I wish you were with me Miya...Harith'

'Yes?' said Harith as his eyes were sparkling,

'Will you accompany me as I explore the land?'

'Hmmmm.....OKAY!'

'But, maybe Alucard and Ruby will be mad at me....'

'Don't worry! I got you covered!'

'Wow! Thank you Harith!' Nana smiles at Harith, the white cat blushed. The two went out, running and running, Harith looks at Nana, Nana looked at him back, and giggled. Harith becoming red.

'Wow so beautiful!!' Nana said as she show all of the sceneries,

'Not as beautiful as you' Harith whispered

'What did you say?'

'I-I SAID, IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!'

'hehe'

The both of them explore and explored then, Nana and Harith ran to the nearest woods and sat there for a while, playing with the grass, Harith sees an extraordinary rose from afar, and dashes there. He picked the rose that was pink, plucking out the thorns. As he went back,

'AHHH!!!! HELP!!!' Nana screamed as she was held by a large dark warrior,

'NANA!!'

Before Harith could dash to her, a warrior quickly caught him, making Harith drop the rose, Harith couldn't free himself.

After the fight, they went home, Harith quickly dashed to Franco and getting a basket of food and quickly dashes to where the rose was, luckily it is still there, he hid it carefully, and went back.

-End if Flashback-

Harith looks at the rose, and then glances up.

"Harith!" Nana shouted

"Nana?!" Harith turned around to Nana, startled and falls off the branch, falling ti the ground.

"HARITH!"

Harith stands up quickly, and wipes off the grass, and slicks his hair back.

"Are you ok?"

"Ye-yes I'm fine!" hiding the rose behind him

"That's a relief"

"You're worried about me?"

"Of course! You and the others helped me and took me in, I can't bare the fact that I will lose all of you, I don't want to be alone anymore...."

Harith hugged Nana without thinking twice. Comforting her in the process, Nana hugged back.

"Oh uhm... here, it reminded me of you..." Harith gives the pink rose to Nana, Nana turned red slightly

"Thank you Harith"

Nana looks at Harith and smiles, Harith doing the same, they stared at each other as the moonlight shines on their faces.
