Chapter 3

-A man in a suit quickly went away and delivered an intel. In a dark place, the man kneeled down and took off his hat.

"My queen, I have come back"

"Do you have the information that I need?"

"Yes, my queen, it seems that the Land of Dawn is not aware or surprised of my prescence"

"Of course, that is why I sent you, you fit perfectly right in, you blend in the crowd, so we won't be traced, now hand the intel"

"My queen, the Land of Dawn is secure with guards in the main gate, Tigreal is wondering about, always ready to fight, his other comrades are still there, soon they will leave Land of Dawn"

"Good, any new fighters there?"

"My queen, the demon hunter has returned"

"Is he with any companion?"

"..N-No my queen"

"Excellent, send Helcurt the day after tomorrow, before that send my little warriors to battle, Leomord, let that demon hunter tire himself"

A knight with long black hair and a sword walked towards the queen.

"Already prepared them, my queen"

"Thank you Leomord"

"As always Queen Vexana"

Queen Vexana sat on the throne and smiled at the man kneeling.

"And thank you too for the information you have brought me....Roger"

"As always my queen"-

In the Land of Dawn,

"Hey Ruby!"

"Yes Alucard?"

"Let's eat! And then.."

"Then what?"

"Let's train together"

"We? train?"

"Yes, now let's eat!"

Meanwhile,

A white cat was running towards the Land Of Dawn happily.

"I will be there Sir Alucard! Woohoo!"

He ran and ran until he reached his destination,

"Finally wooh! Now where is Alucard?"

The white cat search and searched for him until he bumped into someone.

"Oh Harith, Greetings" Tigreal said.

"Oh Lord Tigreal, greetings my lord" Harith knelt down before Tigreal

"I see that you came back Harith, how have you been?"

"Im well my lord, I came here to train with Alucard"

"Ah, that's good, you and Alucard are really alike, such out going persons"

"Oh thank you my lord"

"Well, I have to go now Harith see you again"

"See you again my lord"

And then Harith dashes to find Alucard. Harith then heard someone.

"C'mon now Ruby! Let's go!"

"Ok Ok"

"Wait, that sounds like.. GASP SIR ALUCARD!!" said Harith,

He ran towards the sound where he heard Alucard. When he finally saw Alucard,

"Sir Alucard!"

"Harith?"

"It's me Harith!"

"Harith! It is you, what brings you here?"

"Well, remember the times when we train together? you helped get stronger? I want to train with you again"

"Is that so? Well, sure, we will train, the more the merrier!"

Then Harith looked at the girl who is with Alucard.

"Oh yeah, Harith I'd like you to meet-"

"Ruby. My name is Ruby" Ruby shakes hands with Harith

"Ruby hi, my name is Harith madame, I am a Magic Lieutenant! The best wizard in the Feline Race!"

"Wow, that's amazing"

"Yes! Magic is my life!"

Then a minute of silence.

"So you finally found a lover sir?"

"WHAT?!?!" Both Alucard and Ruby shouted blushing.

"Why do everyone we meet, assume that we're lovers?" Alucard stated.

"Oh, my apologies" Harith said

"Alright, alright let's go then!" said Alucard

They went outside to the nearest forest to train, while they were walking,

"By the way Alucard, how did you two meet?"

"Well, she was a damsel in distress and saying 'Oh Brave Alucard save me from these foul beasts!' and I replied 'Fear not young lady, for I will save you!' and I saved her from the demons"

Alucard was kicked by Ruby from behind.

"That's not what happened, and I did not say that!" Ruby being angry,

'A hard kick, she must be a fighter' thought Harith.

Finally, when they have reached the forest,

"Harith, I want you to sit first and see what is about to unfold"

"If you say so Alucard"

Harith sat underneath a tree, and observe what will happen.

"Now Ruby and I will fight, give me everything that you got Ruby!"

"Let's dance!" said Ruby

Ruby nodded, Alucard holding his huge sword, while Ruby wielding her scythe, ready to battle.

'Wow, a scythe and the demon hunter's sword' thought Harith

Alucard ran towards Ruby and attacks her from above, Ruby quickly got out of the way and counter-attacks Alucard, then Alucard dodges it.

'She's/He's fast' they both thought.

Without hesitation, Alucard used his skill, Groundsplitter, to attack, he leaps forward and launches 1 strike, Ruby was hit by the sword. Ruby attacked Alucard swiftly and dealt damage.

"Nice attack there Ruby, but do you know this?"

Alucard used Grounsplitter again and hit Ruby, she tried to run away but Alucard quickly teleported to her then Alucard attacks Ruby multiple times, Ruby dealing with the hits.

'It feels more powerful than before' Ruby thought

"That was Pursuit, if I target one enemy it will deal 1.2x the damage, if there is two it will deal 1.1x damage" said Alucard

"I don't know what you're talking about" said Ruby

"Well, you'll see"

Alucard used Whirling Smash, and slashes Ruby, then again Groundsplitter, and Fission Wave causing Ruby to fall on the ground.

"WHAT WAS THAT?!"

"That was Fission Wave Ruby, and I have 100% lifesteal it lasts about only a few seconds, I deal damage to enemies, I regain health, need a hand?" Alucard lending a hand to Ruby, Ruby shoves off Alucard's hand, she standed up, quickly as fast as she could she charges at Alucard, unexpectedly, Alucard flinches, and advantage for Ruby.

Ruby attacked using her skill, she freed the giant sickle, launching a physical assault to Alucard and at the same time, the attack forms a foward attack wave. Alucard was hit by the attack he couldn't dodged, and he went slow for a few seconds, Ruby kept attacking Alucard while he was slow, making Alucard fall back.

"What. was. that?" asked Alucard

"Hmm I'll call it Be Good!, that's nice!" said Ruby

'I see, I know Alucard is strong but Miss Ruby has potential and can defeat him!, she can be a worst enemy to Alucard!' Harith thought

After Harith saw Ruby's 'Be Good!' skill, he was so pumped up to see more of those.

Alucard got back up and attacked Ruby, but then Ruby dodged and used another skill, Ruby rotated the scythe twice as big, Alucard waa stunned by this attack and was sucked closed to Ruby, and she kept attacking while he was stunned. Alucard backed away, and looked at Ruby,

"Well what do you know I have a 125% lifesteal effect on my skills, I'll call that one Don't Run, Wolf King!" said Ruby

'THAT IS A LOT! SHE REALLY CAN BE ALUCARD'S WORST ENEMY!!' Harith thought while his eyes are beeming

"Wow, thats is a lot, Wolf king huh" said Alucard,

Alucard charged at Ruby and used Ground splitter and quickly used Fission Wave, and teleported to Ruby to attack her, Ruby dodged the attack using her skill Be Good! Making Alucard slow, and attack him, Alucard got out of the way and tried to escape but surprisingly, Ruby used another skill, Ruby threw her sickle forward and pulled Alucard, attracting him to Ruby and recieved damaged and was stunned for a few seconds. Ruby used her skill, Don't Run Wolf King!, as fast as possible. Alucard was hit and attacked Ruby with Whirling Smash, rotating and slashes Ruby. Ruby was hit and backed away. Their fight continued as the sun is going down. Both were breathing heavily, holding their weapons steadily. Looking at each other in the eyes. Both gasping for breath. Both of them walked towards each other, still looking at each other's eyes, now smiling.

"Are you two going to kiss or what?" asked Harith

Both of them blushed.

"WH-WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!" both of them stammered.

"You two are very strong!! I learned a lot!!"

"What did you learn Harith?" asked Alucard

"That Miss Ruby is as strong as you are Alucard!"

Alucard and Ruby looked at each other and smiled.

"I'll get you some refreshments, I'll be back!" said Harith as he runs away

"Well, lets lay back for awhile shall we?"

asked Alucard

"Sure"

They went to a space and lay back on the grass, they didn't noticed at first but there were fireflies around the forest, lighting up the dark, Alucard and Ruby next to each other, looking up at the stars shinning so bright. Ruby's eyes sparkling, like a little kid.

"It's beautiful isn't it" said Alucard

"Yes, it is"

"So, Ruby.."

"Hmm?"

"Would you tell me about yourself? where you came from?"

"uhm.."

"I'll tell you mine too"

"Well, ok Alucard"

Ruby breathes in and out, Alucard ready to listen.

"When I was a little girl, I live in a peaceful village with my grandparents, one day, wolves attacked the village, then, a man named Roger saved us, since that day he trained us, the villagers, to protect ourselves, he will fight with us, he was my protector, my partner, then, he left without any trace, he left with no reason at all. On night, the wolves came again, I was praying hard to call Roger to save us, and then I heard a loud crash outside, I went out to see, I see my grandparents fighting, and...they died infront of me..."

Ruby started to cry.

"From that day on, I will hunt all the wolves down and bring peace to the world and find Roger, I know he is out there, he is alive, I will find him and bring him home"

Tears continued to fall down her face, remembering her grandparents death, just makes her cry even more. Alucard faced her and caressed her face with his hand, wiping away the tears, Ruby shocked, she faced Alucard.

"Don't cry Ruby, I'm just like you...."

"I was born in the capital of the empire, my parents were mentors to Tigreal's Order of knights, one of the Order's trial missions, Tigreal's overconfidence led to my parents sacrificing their lives to save him from demons. So, I went into the territory of demons to search my parents, but all I found is the family crest that they wore on their chest, unexpectedly, demons ambushed me, they captured and tortured me for months....I was freed by a Demon Hunter, after all of that, I swore to get revenge on my parents and hunt those demons down...We're the same"

Ruby looked at Alucard and hugged him out of the blue. Alucard surprised by this but hugged back.

"Ruby, I'll be by your side, I'll protect you, don't worry"

"Thank you Alucard... thank you"

After a little while both fell asleep while in each other's arms. Sleeping peacefully.

"Alucard! Miss Ruby! I'm bac- Oh" said Harith,

Harith sees the two asleep in each other's arms.

"Well it's better to not disturb them, I guess I'll sleep too"

Harith lay down the ground and drifted off to sleep.

Meanwhile,

In the dark corner of the Land of Dawn,

"NO PLEASE NO!" said a knight

"Tell me what you know about the girl in the red hood?"

"I -I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING"

"Too bad"

The man in the suit transformed into a big wolf, with red eyes, a horrifying sight, growling, he slaughtered the knight. Biting deeply into his body causing the knight to bleed awfully, killing him with its claws tearing his skin. The knight is dead. The knight's body fall to the floor, the wolf covered in blood, looked behind him, seeing the knights lifeless, blood all over the place.

"I'm sorry.."
