1 The Endless Void

In the void stood a man, black hair resting on his shoulders and bright blue eyes staring into the distance.

"I gather this is Limbo? no, the Afterlife?" said the man.

This man was Blake Osborne, always having a calm analytical outlook on life... or rather death at this point.

"Well, I can't just stand here until time collapses or something, guess I'll start walking".

As Blake starts to walk into the unknown, he starts musing to himself about the events that lead to this moment.

Blake was jogging through a path in a field. As someone who frequently stays at home alone, he finds that exercise is something important and necessary for him to remain healthy. The path Blake was taking through the field was still damp due to the rain that had passed moments ago, a classic random downpour sponsored by the UK herself again.

You could refer to Blake as a NEET or for lack of a better term, an outcast of society. That isn't to say he isn't smart, just the cards that were dealt to him weren't the best. He lost his family at a young age and stayed in an orphanage, He barely made it into a public school and finally even after graduating through both school and college with decent grades, he found it next to impossible to find a job.

Blake sighed to himself thinking of the past 15 years that lead him to this moment.

'Is this really all life has to offer? You grow up learning in a failing educational system just to be cast aside instantly'

Just as Blake finished that thought, he finished passing through the field arriving onto a road, locating a nearby bench he decides to sit down.

'I'm barely surviving on benefits from the government, maybe I should just start anew somewhere else, another country maybe? no that'd probably cost me more than I can afford just to get there let alone live there'.

As Blake was looking up to the sky deep in thought a car driving down the road had lost traction to the floor due to the rain that had passed moments ago. The car, which was also well over the 20mph speed limit, swerved uncontrollably towards Blake who was so deep in thought didn't notice it until the last second.

Blake Osborne, 20, died in an accident with nobody remembering him.

[-Back to the void-]

"I guess thats all in the past now, onto the next thing" Blake mummed to himself, walking further into the void wondering what was to come.

Hours passed, maybe even days had passed and Blake was still walking with nothing to show for it, he finally laid down to look up into the void.

"if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you. Funny, you'd think Nietzsche experienced this same void at one point while he was alive or something".

As Blake was about to close his eyes a voice boomed through the void.

{You're certainly an interesting one}
