Nicole placed her cutlery down and looked at Nick with a serious expression, ''how did you know that?''

''That's why; you my lovely twin brother, you are going to house and feed me till I'm confident enough to go back there'' Nicole shook herself and pretended to be scared, ''assh, you have no idea how those ghosts look like? Thinking about it gives me the chills''

''Then just take money and go back to your house. I don't want my apartment to soon be occupied by ghosts okay? Please''

Nikki laughed, ''hey, relax Nick. I was just kidding. Look at you sweating already''

Priscy picked up an envelope from the table and asked Ray, ''what is this?''

''Everything you need to know about that woman is in there. but there is something else you might be interested in knowing'' Ray's voice was calm as usual as he spoke. His face held some form of mysteriousness but perhaps Priscy was too occupied with different thoughts to see the ambiguity surrounding him at that moment.

''What could that be?'' she sat down and started to open the brown envelope.

''She was a close friend of Lizzy, they even attended the same school together with Leo but she didn't graduate with Lizzy. She disappeared after some time and no one heard of her till recently after Lizzy died and her real name is Nicole Benson''

''How did you find so much information about her? I tried digging into her but couldn't find much''

''Her twin brother is the owner of Club 0N and he is also a lawyer''

''Oh, so he sealed all information about her? Then, how did you get your hands on these?'' Priscy looked at the pictures of Lizzy and Nicole. In almost all the pictures, they looked happy and were holding hands.

''You don't need to bother with her anymore. She and Leo won't be getting in touch for a long time''

''Really? An old friend of Lizzy who appeared as soon as she died. Whoa! This is getting interesting'' Priscy stood up and picked her glass of wine and sipped.

''En, so make sure you seduce Leo and make him yours. It will be better to do that on the night of Lizzy's 40th day memorial''

In just a few minutes, his gaze darkened and as he touched his bulge, feeling his body heat up. They both smiled slyly before he stood up and pulled Priscy closer to himself and started kissing her.

Soon, the air in the hall turned sexual as they started peeling off each other's clothes to begin their sexual adventure.

At Nicole's apartment that same morning, Candy kept glancing at the door worriedly a Granny sat, watching TV.

''Looks like neither one of them is coming anytime soon. Granny I think this fight is a big one. Do you think, they will get back together again?'' Candy asked.

''I don't know Candy but let's hope so''

''Lizzy doesn't have much time left. Does she, granny?''

''She doesn't Candy''

''Anything. Talk to Lizzy, I will go out and find out where Nikki is if she doesn't come by tomorrow.

''Have you forgotten you are grounded? If you miss that Detective Gail so much, why don't you go out then? I'm sure he misses you too''

''That damn Detective Gail. If he didn't have Azar protecting him, I would have beaten him up by now'' Candy fussed and sat back.

Nick pulled the carte around as Nicole picked the things she needed while they chatted.

''Nick, employ me at your club. I'm sure I will do great there''

''No thanks. I don't need workers at the moment''

''Then, make me a manager there. I can keep the workers in check while you are at the firm''

''More like scare all of them into running away while I am busy at the firm? I already have a manager''

''I need to earn my own living. Are you not tired of giving me money all the time?''

''No, just do your job well as an unemployed sister and I will provide you everything you need okay and I have a lot of money. You won't be able to finish spending them all your life''

''What?'' Nicole glared at him.

Just then, Leo also saw her but he didn't stop. He walked pass her as if she was air and went away. His face looked haggard, as if he had been deprived of sleep.

''That man looks familiar. He comes to my bar to drink once a while. Is he someone you know?'' Nick asked Nicole and she shook her head.

''No, I don't know him. Let's go'' Nicole walked away and Nick followed. She was going towards the counter.

Meanwhile, Leo stopped in his strides and turned back looking at her as she walked away. He decided not to care too and also walked away. He had come to buy the things needed for Lizzy's 40th day memorial.

Nicole placed the things she bought on her kitchen counter and sneered, ''aha, he dared to treat me like air, right? He is the master of pretence; master of pretence''

Granny and Candy stood at the hall watching her.

''This is unbelievable! You just walked away as if I didn't exist right? Well let's see who wins. Leo, I am not bothered about you one bit''

Granny and Candy looked at each other and shook their head.

''Welcome back Nicole. I thought you were not coming back?'' Candy walked over to her.

''This is my house ok? I left because I was feeling stuffy but I'm back now. Don't look at me like some stranger''

Candy suddenly went closer and hugged Nicole, ''I'm glad you are back. I missed you so much''

''I was gone for only a day''

''If only Lizzy could come back too''

Candy said and Nicole pushed her away from herself.

''Why would she come here? This is not her house to begin with''

''Whoa, you are really heartless'' Candy glared at her.

''Right, I am heartless and now I am going to be selfish too. I won't be played around again''

''Lizzy didn't return after she left. Are you not worried about her?'' Granny asked.

''Why should I care about her? If she didn't return, it means to went to her fiancé's place who by the way ignored me today at the mall. I am not going to care about what she does anymore''

Nicole started removing the groceries from the bags.

''Will you still say that even when you find out that Lizzy has little time left?'' Granny asked and Nicole paused. Her hand clutched hard on the paper milk.

''Really? Tell me something else… like how much time she had left. I am not falling for those words of yours again. Granny, you lost my trust already''

''Granny is right. Lizzy really had little time left. A little over two months left. If she can't resolve her grudge and leave, she might turn into an evil spirit''

Nicole turned and looked at them. Her face contorted and a lot of emotions ran through her eyes as she asked solemnly.

''Is… that really true?''

''Yes'' Granny replied and Nicole cussed.
