My eyes almost widened the moment I saw the familiar figure of our old friend-- that I thought we have already lost forever.

"Let's all welcome back our old friend… Tara!" Aiden declared enthusiastically, his hands are both pointing at the girl beside her.

I cast my gaze at the girl, who looked like she was beaten down countless times. And I swear I could imagine what happened to her way back when she was in prison, for I also encountered the same thing.

The dress she is currently wearing was torn down on the hemline, like a dog had bitten it. Her face is full of scratches and her hair is so messy that I almost did not recognize her if it weren't for what Aiden said earlier.

"Oh my gosh, Tara! It's good to see you!" I squealed in delight.
