64 Something Bad Is About To Happen

We remained in silence after that quick kiss that we shared a while ago as if none of us wants to break this beautiful serenity that starts to envelop each one of us. But all of that faded when Lance started talking once again.

"Thank you, Charm, for giving me a chance to love you. I will see to it that you won't ever regret choosing me." Lance said happily which made my lips curved into a smile.

"I know that I won't regret choosing you, Lance," I responded as I stare at his handsome face. I suddenly felt lucky to be chosen by this fine young lad standing right in front of me over others out there.

At the back of my mind, I can hear it saying, "I won't regret choosing you if it meant that I will be punished for this decision I made."
