54 Reflecting On Our Mistakes

-Lance's POV-

It has been ten minutes passed since Lucas and Baal had gone inside the temple and yet I chose to remain here outside the magic barrier to wait patiently for their return.

Speaking of which, I can now visibly see them from a distance as they are now walking towards my direction. 

"How's Charm?" was my first question to them as soon as they went outside of the barrier.

At first, there were a few moments of silence. They haven't directly answered my question, but as I observed Lucas' grieved expression and Baal's slight change in his usual serious face, I instantly knew there's something wrong around here.

"Charm was able to wake up the moment she drank a few drops of the spring water…" Lucas said but paused for a moment to heave out a sigh. I chose to remain silent and patiently wait for his continuation.
