65 Lance's Sincere Plea

-Lance's POV-

I headed straight for the temple's sacred room where the ritual was held according to Aurora. Upon reaching the mentioned room, Lucas was the first one I saw who is currently standing near the huge doors of the room.

"Lance?" This guy was kinda shocked to see me here in this place. Then his eyes shifted to Aurora. "You told him about the sacred ritual? You know it is prohibited by Deity Apollo!"

Aurora, on the other hand, looked scared as she looked at Lucas. "I-I have no choice. My conscience would always bug me to spill the truth to Lance. After all, I-I think he deserves to know."

I only gave them a nonchalant look before responding, "So you really don't plan to tell this very important thing to me? And when will you plan to tell me? When she's already dead?" My right hand ran through my hair in frustration before looking at Lucas, who seems to be assigned to guard this whole place. "I thought you are my friends."
