The next day, I immediately woke up and was busy packing our things for our next trip to the capital city of Gilead. 

I may be sad to know that this would be our last day to be in this village, but on the other hand, I tried to look at the brighter side that if things go well according to plan, maybe I could visit this village someday once peace and order started to prevail all throughout the land.

"G-Good morning." 

I almost jumped out of my skin the moment I stepped outside of our room. My eyes then landed on Lance, who, in turn, is looking back at me. 

Talk about awkwardness!

"Good morning Lance." I chose to duck my head to hide my cheeks turning red with this sudden awkward circumstance.

I can't help but remember the things that happened yesterday night at the bonfire dance…
