My eyes went round upon seeing these giant floats from a distance devoured by the flickering flames that only took several seconds to burn the whole thing. Upon burning, all people cheered and scowled in their places, shouting "Serves you right, witches!" in angry tones.

O… kay?

"Now, what did you say about changing the minds of mortals the other day, Lianne?" Leo asked in a mocking tone. I only glared at the lad who is embarrassing me in the group right now.

"Whatever." I only responded and walked ahead. I felt the rest of them followed after that.

As we continued to walk in the streets, I happened to pass by two women standing right next to each other and having their late morning chitchats. I was not planning to mind them at all when I heard one of them suddenly say, "Anti-witch day is one of the events we are all looking forward to every year."
