43 'You Have Done More Than Enough'

The moment I felt my stamina already recovered, it was then decided that we went back to our journey towards the capital city of Gilead known as Citadel.

Unlike before, I agreed to be on Lucas' horse, and Aurora now riding on Johanne's horse. If ever I need assistance regarding my health, then it is best to stick to the healer of the group.

The rest of the afternoon was soon consumed on the road as we went our way towards Citadel. Another round of awkward silence took over us as we all became silent to each of our horses. It remained that way until Aurora called out my name.

"Aurora?" I called back to her, who's horse is just right next to us.

"You better check out the lad right behind you. He looks… I don't know… dead inside?"

Johanne chuckled as soon as he heard what my friend said. "Yes, you better check out my best friend's condition." Soon, both Aurora and this lad gave themselves a high five.
