"So, Grams is telling me I'm psychic. Our ancestors were from Salem, which isn't all that, I know, crazy. But she's going on and on about it. And I'm like put this woman in a home already!" Bonnie spoke as she drove her best friend to the first day of school.

"But then I started thinking, I predicted Obama and I predicted Heath Ledger. And I still think Florida will break off and turn into little resort islands." Bonnie added as Elena stared distantly out the window at the passing scenery.

"Elena!" Bonnie calls out when she notices her best friend's distant attitude.

Elena snaps back and looks at Bonnie. Bonnie smiles and says, "Back in the car." with a light heart.

"I did it again, Didn't I?" Elena asked while shaking herself back to reality." I --I'm sorry, Bonnie. You were telling me that…"

"That I'm psychic now." Bonnie interrupted with a bit of pride in revelation.

"Right." said Elena," Ok, then predict something right now. About me."

Bonnie sighs and looks over to her friend. "I see…"

Bam! A crow flies into the windshield of Bonnie's car, forced to slam on the breaks as both girls gasp in shock. The sound o tires squeal as Bonnie's blue Hyundai slides across the road emitting white smoke from her tires until she reaches a complete stop.

"What was that?! Oh, my god god. Elena, are you ok?" Bonnie pants.

Elena lets her head rest against the headrest as she releases a breath of relief. "It's ok. I'm fine," she replies.

Bonnie leans against her seatbelt and looks at Elena with worry and care. "It was like a bird or something. It came out of nowhere."

"Really, I can't be freaked out by cars for the rest of my life." Elena stammered.

Bonnie exhales and collects herself. "I predict this year is going to be kick-ass. And I predict all the sad and dark times are over and you are going to be beyond happy."

Elena smiles in delight at her friend's psychic prediction and nods her head in agreement. The best friends share a lingering glance and silent support before Bonnie pulls off and finishes her drive to school.

Elena and Bonnie were walking through the Hallways of Mystic Falls High School, laughing and enjoying each other's company when Bonnie suddenly stopped Elena.

"Hold up. Who's this?" Asked Bonnie with interest.

"All I see is back," Elena replied looking at a mysterious man in blue jeans and a dark leather jacket standing at the secretary's desk in the administration office.

"It's a hot back," Bonnie added much to Elena's amusement, causing her to chuckle.

In the administration office, the secretary talks to the mysterious man slightly annoyed. "Your records are incomplete." She says. "You're missing immunization records, and we do insist on transcripts."

The man removed his sunglasses in a cool manner and looks deeply into the secretary's eyes. "Please look again," he says as his pupils contract and dilate. "I'm sure everything you need is there."

The secretary stares blankly at him in some sort of trance before she looks back at the documents and says, "Well, you're right. So it is."

In the hallway, Bonnie and Elena are still present observing the man in the leather jacket.

'I'm sensing Seattle, and he plays guitar."

Elena looks at Bonnie in amusement and gives her a little scoff. "You're really going to run with this whole psychic thing into the ground, huh?"

"Pretty much," Bonnie replies nonchalantly. "

Elena looks up and catches a quick glance of her younger brother, Jeremy, walking into the boy's restroom. Elena senses something is off and scoffs when she assumes her brother is high on pot, yet again. Elena becomes serious as she tells Bonnie, "I'll be right back." before walking off.

Bonnie doesn't give Elena a second thought as she focuses on the mysterious man. "Please be hot," she says with intense focus.

Bonnie senses something, causing her to fall into a slight trance as the world drowns out around her and becomes silent. Behind her, is a young brown skin man with hazel eyes, a bald fade, and a curly quiff. Unaware of the presence behind her, Bonnie hones in on the mysterious man in the office and suddenly gets a cold feeling.

Once the mysterious man turns around to leave the office, Bonnie's eyes follow him intently as she begins to move and tail him, only coming to her senses when the man bumps into Elena in the hall.

Later that day, Bonnie and her friend Caroline walked into the local bar and grill, Mystic Grill. It's the local hangout for everybody who's somebody.

"His name is Stefan Salvatore." Caroline Forbes begins, referring to the 'hot back' that Bonnie was interested in. " He stays with his uncle in the Salvatore boarding house. Military family, so they moved around a lot. He's Gemini, and his favorite color is blue."

Caroline stops and swings her beautiful blonde locks as she turns back and looks at Bonnie.

"You got all of that in one day?" Bonnie asked in astonishment.

"Oh please, I got all of that between third and fourth period. We're planning a June wedding." Caroline confesses, leaving Bonnie amazed by her friend's usual personality.

Sometime later, Bonnie finds herself at a table with her friends having a discrete original mojito.

"So, How's Elena?" Asked Matt, Elena's Ex-boyfriend. A really soapy chap at the moment, still reeling over his breakup after the death of Elena's parents at the end of last school year.

"You know Elena. She's putting on a good face. But it's only been four months." Bonnie replied with a comforting voice.

"Has she said anything about me?" asked Matt.

"Oh, no. So not getting in the middle. You pick up the phone and call her."

"I feel weird calling her." Said Matt. " She broke up with me."

"Give it time, Matt" Bonnie tried to reassure him, but suddenly caught Elena entering the Mystic Grill with Stefan Salvatore in high spirits.

Matt follows Bonnie's eyes and watches the same scene as a painful sting invades his heart. Matt looks at Bonnie with sad eyes, "More Time, Huh?"

Bonnie purses her lips and delivers a look of sympathy as Matt leaves the table.

"So, you were born in Mystic Falls?" Caroline asks Stefan.

"Mm-Hmm." he nods. " And moved when I was still young."

"Parents?" Bonnie asked with great interest.

Stefan swallows and replies, "My parents passed away."

Elena becomes sympathetic and gives her condolences in a low hurt voice. "Any siblings?" Elena asks.

"None that I talk to," Stefan replies without hesitation.

"Well, that's a shame. The love of a sibling is everything when the world becomes unbearable." A soothing voice spoke attracting the attention of the table.

A brown-skinned man with hazel eyes, bald fade, and quiff stood with one hundred percent confidence. Though the table looked at him, he only had eyes for Bonnie who's eyes were watering due to the intense swirl of emotions within her.

"Solomon Bennett." he held out his hand towards Stefan.

Stefan looked around at the women at his table but they were all focused on Solomon. Stefan grasps Solomon's hand and shakes it firmly. "Stefan Salvatore," he replies.

"And you are courting?" Solomon asks after a deadly sensation washes over him.

The girls and Stefan pause for a moment. Stefan then answers, "Elena."

Solomon smiles brightly. "Good," he says.

Stefan takes a deep breath as he registers a boiling heat infiltrating his body. Stefan quickly pulls his hand away from Solomon. Solomon then looks at Bonnie.

"Bonnie-bear," he says.

Tears roll down Bonnie's cheek and she asks, " Sol, When did you?"

"Today." Solomon interrupts her.

Bonnie stands up and the whole world becomes irrelevant as she makes her way to Solomon and throws her arms around him. Solomon wraps his arms around her waist to return the hug and pulls her close and tight as she weeps into his chest.

"I've missed you, Bonnie-bear. I've missed you so much," he whispers.

Bonnie tightens her hold and her tears continue to flow from the wells of her eyes with no sign of stopping.

Caroline and Elena look at each other for a moment before they notice Stefan's confused face. "Her Twin…" Elena silently mouths.

Caroline then follows up with, "Is psycho…"

Bonnie finally pulls away and looks at her two best friends. "I have to go. I really just…"

"We know," Caroline interjects. "Spend some time with your brother. It's good to see you, Solomon."

Solomon flashes a hint of a smile. "Likewise, Miss Forbes."

He then looks to Elena. "Miss Gilbert… as beautiful as ever. You be careful who share a meal with, now." Solomon glances at Stefan as if sending a message before he and Bonnie leave.

"Why didn't you tell me that you were coming back?" Bonnie asked on the drive home.

"I wanted it to be a surprise," Solomon replied. " Where are we going?"

"Home.' said Bonnie.

"To dad's?"

Bonnie frowns, "Yeah… but he's not home. It's just going to be us."

"No. I want to go to Grams."

Bonnie puts on a big smile and tears form in her eyes again as she grabs Solomon's hand and gives it a tight squeeze. "Whatever you want," she said. "Whatever you want."

Bonnie continues to hold his hand as she turns the corner and drives to her grandmother's. When the Twins arrive. Grams is happy to see Bonnie and pulls her into a big hug. A sudden familiar sensation washes over her as she releases Bonnie and looks at the door.

Solomon walks in with a half-smile and says, "It took you long enough, Grams. I thought I was going to have to introduce myself." he joked.

Grams instantly broke down and Bonnie had to catch her before she fell. Solomon made his way to Grams and held her up. "My beautiful baby boy…" she wept as she hugged him. The scene brought tears to Bonnie's eyes and she begins to cry for the third time tonight.

"You found your way home… I'm not going to let them take you, again. I promise." Said Grams much to Bonnie's confusion, though, Solomon understood every word and immediately shed tears of his own.

Solomon reached out and pulled Bonnie into the group hug. Solomon held them both as he said. "I'm home."

The next day at school. Bonnie and Solomon were attached at the hip. Even in the classes they shared, they sat next to each other. Many of the people in school welcomed Solomon back with open arms and joyous smiles. It was a small town and they all believed that Solomon was in a children's hospital in New Orleans since he was 4 years old.

When Solomon turned eight and Bonnie refused to eat until she saw her brother, Bonnie learned that Solomon was in a mental hospital, placed there by her father, causing a strain in their relationship. Bonnie insisted on staying in touch with her brother by any means.

With her dad constantly away on business trips, Solomon became the closest and most distant person in her life. And Unlike Bonnie, Grams was court-ordered to stay far away from Solomon. A court order was issued by her father's request, permanently driving the wedge between the father and daughter.

Now in history class, Bonnie focused on Solomon and Solomon focused on Mr.Tanner's lecture.

"The battle of willow creek took place at the end of the war in our very own Mystic Falls." Mr.Tanner lectured. " How many casualties resulted in this battle?"

Mr. Tanner waited for a brief moment then looked up and locked eyes on Bonnie who had her eyes on her twin brother. "Ms. Bennett?" he asked.

Bonnie snapped her head to the front and replied. "Um… A lot?" it was more of a question than an answer. Solomon tittered to himself and Bonnie's cheeks turned a bit rosy.

"I'm not sure," she added. " Like a whole lot."

Bonnie turned on her charm and Mr. Tanner disapproved. "Cute becomes dumb in an instant, Ms. Bennett."

Solomon frowned at the insult, but couldn't help but agree with him deep down.

"Mr. Donavan." He sang. " Would you like to take this opportunity to overcome your embedded jock stereotype?"

"It's okay, Mr. Tanner, I'm cool with it." Matt shot back not missing a beat. A few students in the class chuckled.

Tanner immediately moved on. "Hmm. Elena? Surely you can enlighten us about one of the town's most significant historical events?"

Elena shook her head. "I'm sorry," she said. "I-- I don't know."

Mr.Tanner stared at her with big eyes and said, " I was willing to be lenient last year for obvious reasons, Elena, but the personal excuses ended with summer break."

Elena's heart sunk at his strong words.

"There were 346 casualties unless you're counting local civilians."

Tanner and Elena looked over to the source of the voice.

"That's correct. Mister…"

"Salvatore" Stefan replied.

"Salvatore. Any relations to the original settlers here in Mystic Falls?" Mr. Tanner asked.

"Distant."

"Well, very good." Tanner complimented him and then prepared to break him down. "Except, of course, there were no civilian casualties in this battle."

"Actually, there were 27, Sir." Stefan corrected him, gaining the attention of the class. "Confederate soldiers, they fired on the church, believing it to be housing weapons. They were wrong. It was a night of great loss."

Mr. Tanner put on an embarrassed face.

"29..." a voice called out and the class shifted their attention to face Solomon.

"The 'Confederates' killed two sons that belonged to the Salvatore family, believing them to be traitors to the cause. A result of the eldest son's desertion from the confederate army." Said Solomon. "So, I guess you're both wrong."

The class became silent, it was almost suffocating. "And you are?" Mr. Tanner asked.

"Solomon Bennett."

"My Twin brother," Bonnie added.

Stefan looked uneasy by the revelation and Tanner looked even more embarrassed as town secrets that he was oblivious to, continued to unfold in his class, where he was supposed to be the teacher.

Later that night, the youths of Mystic Falls gathered at a bonfire in the woods to celebrate the start of a new school year. While Bonnie spent her time with Elena, Solomon mingled with the local beauties and began to get reacquainted. According to the town, he was a leukemia survivor that could finally return home and have a taste of life. And many of the females wanted to be his guide to everything… exciting.

But all the while, Solomon had eyes on his twin, Bonnie.

"Where is he?" Bonnie asked Elena about her latest love interest.

Elena looked around and replied, " I don't know. You tell me, You're the psychic."

Bonnie is thoroughly amused and says, "Right, I forgot. Ok, give me a sec. Grams says I have to concentrate."

Bonnie closes her eyes and Elena suddenly stops her. " Wait." She says. " you need a crystal ball. Ahh."

Elena looks around and reaches down to pick up a beer bottle. Turning around Elena holds out the bottle. When Bonnie grabs the bottle she happens to touch Elena as well and her eyes snap open with an immediate vision.

Solomon watches closely to see how Bonnie handles the situation. The brunette in front of him looks behind her and sees that Solomon is staring at his sister and she puts on a look of disgust before walking away.

Bonnie pulls her hand back and slightly unnerves Elena.

"What?"

"That was weird," Bonnie replied. "When I touched you, I saw a crow."

Elena was completely freaked at this point and asked, "What?"

"A crow," Bonnie repeated herself. " There was fog, a man."

Bonnie noticed her uncomfortable and spooked friend and she suddenly recanted everything she said with the simple phrase, "I'm drunk. It's the drinking. There's nothing psychic about it."

Bonnie then grabs the beer bottle from Elena, but the effects of the revelation was still present in Elena's eyes.

"Yeah, I'm going to get a refill." Bonnie throughs out an excuse before walking away.

Solomon smirks in the distance. 'She's awakening.' he thought in his heart.

Bonnie was walking off and Elena called after her to no avail. Solomon then grabbed two drinks from the table and went after Bonnie. Solomon took his time. He finally caught up when Bonnie was overlooking the water with Caroline.

"Solomon," Carolines spoke.

"Ms. Forbes."

Caroline smiled and tilted her head. "You know you can call me Caroline or Care. Anything but Ms. Forbes."

Bonnie looked between the two and notice her friend's flirty face but said nothing.

"I don't like your family, Caroline," Solomon spoke with a subtle rage. " Can I borrow my sister?"

Caroline was taken aback and before she could answer, Bonnie stepped in and walked Solomon away.

"Calm down, Sol. She's just being nice and a little flirty. That's Caroline." Said Bonnie.

"Still can't believe you're friends with them." he scoffed.

Bonnie suddenly stopped and snatched her brother by the arm. "Look at me, Solomon," she ordered. "I have lived my whole life with a father that stole my twin from me. My grandmother is a drunk because she lost you and completely neglected me. And our mother ran out on us, while the only contact that I had with you was through a letter, phone, or a computer screen! They are all I have! And I will always be friends with them! Please accept that. If I have to choose, you'll break me. I promise you that."

Solomon sighed and handed his sister a drink. " Whatever you want, Bonnie-bear, whatever you want." Solomon put his arm over her shoulder and held her close as they walked away.

"It's like they've been together forever." Said Matt, startling Caroline.

"I know, it's weird, right? I've never seen Bonnie so clingy." Caroline commented. "I'm getting serious Twincest vibes. I thought the letters and phone calls were bad."

"She's just happy to have her brother back. I don't what I would do if I spent my whole life talking to Vic, but so far away from her."

"I guess you're, right." Said Caroline.

Bonnie and Solomon were walking and drinking as they reminisced and Bonnie told him stories that she told him a million times, though, Solomon listened because he loved the sound of her voice and the happy feeling that thrummed in his heart. Solomon allowed himself to experience her stories as he had never heard them before. Bonnie loved it.

"Hey, Bon. What did you see tonight?" Solomon asked and Bonnie became dim. "It's okay. You can tell me anything. Anything at all."

"I saw a man…" Bonnie exhaled like she had dropped a thousand pounds of weight off her shoulders.

"Help!" A scream ripped through the party atmosphere. It was Elena running into the party with her younger brother, Jeremy, carrying a nearly dead Vicki Donovan in his arms.

Bonnie tried to run to the scene but was snatched by Solomon who looked at her with pleading eyes. Bonnie slapped his hand away and ran to her friends. The party watched as Vicki was lain on the table and bled from a neck wound.

In the crowd, Stefan watched the scene with frightened eyes. He suddenly made eye contact with Matt Donovan and turned away to leave. However, the moment he turned around he met eyes with Solomon Bennett. Stefan threw up his hands, but Solomon focused his mind and cuts appeared on Stefan's body.

Stefan grimaced in pain until Solomon walked away and appeared by Bonnie. Solomon placed two fingers on Vicki's neck and checked her pulse. Though it was faint, Solomon didn't want to risk it.

"I can't feel a pulse!" he shouted.

Solomon then performed CPR with a little added magic. While many people thought he was counting chest compressions, Solomon was muttering a spell to keep Vicki's vital organs functioning until the ambulance could arrive and get her a blood transfusion.

When the Ambulance finally arrived, they thanked Solomon for his hard work and took over. For humans that knew no better, it looked like Solomon Bennett saved Vicki Donovan. The crowd clapped for him but Solomon ignored them all.

"Matt. What's Vicki's blood type?" he asked.

"O negative," Matt replied.

Solomon went after the ambulance and told them about Vicki's blood loss. "She's O negative," he added before the ambulance closed the doors and started a long haul to Mystic Falls General Hospital.

After the Vicki Donovan fiasco, Solomon and Bonnie went with Caroline to the Mystic Grill to sober up.

"Are you sober yet?" Bonnie asked.

Caroline rubs her face with both hands in an attempt to clear her state of dizziness. She suddenly exhales and says, " No."

Bonnie glances at Solomon and he quietly nods. Bonnie looks back at Caroline and says, "Keeping drinking, I have to get you home." referring to the coffee on the table.

Caroline rests her head in her hands and Bonnie says, " I gotta get us home."

Caroline brushes her hair back as she pops her head up. "Why didn't he go for me?" She asks. " You know, how come the guys that I want never want me?

Bonnie sighs and shakes her head. "I'm not touching that," she says.

"I'm Inappropriate. I always say the wrong thing. And… Elena always says the right thing."

Bonnie sets her cup of coffee down and sighs as she straightens up for the heavy and constantly recurring conversation.

"She doesn't even try!" Says Caroline. " And he just picks her. And she's always the one that everyone picks, for everything! And I try so hard, And… I'm never the one."

Bonnie shackles her and tries to comfort her friend. "It's not a competition, Caroline."

Caroline stares into the distance for a moment then looked back at Bonnie with clear and unwavering eyes. "Yeah, it is."

At the same time in Mystic Falls General Hospital. Vicki Donovan is in the hospital bed with bandages around her neck. Her brother Matt sits beside her and waits for her to awaken.

Vicki suddenly stirs and her eyes open. She looks around the hospital until Matt notices her almond eyes staring at the ceiling.

"Vicki, Hey," he says as he leans onto the bed.

"Matt--"

"Shh." he interrupts. " Hey, don't try to talk, ok? You're fine."

Vicki looks him straight in the eyes as tears cloud her vision and she says, "Vampire."

Dear...Grimoire.

I've finally returned to Mystic Falls and Bonnie is doing great. I thought she wouldn't be happy to see me but I was wrong. Every time we spoke, it was real. I also went to see Grams and I could feel the emotions coming from her. The pain, loneliness, and regret. A lot of it was remedied when she saw me free at last.

Bonnie is still friends to the descendants of the founders, but I can tell she loves them and to some extent, they love her as well. For now, I will allow it.

But I don't know how long that will last. The Gilbert girl is falling in love with a vampire. The Forbes girl has major self-esteem issues and has caught the eye of another vampire. I saw him tonight. He looked just like the photos. I believe them to be the brothers, Salvatore, saved by my ancestor.

Due to ancient debts, I will not act, but the moment I can and they step out of line, I will show them why the vampires that came before them feared witches named Bennett.
