92 How was your night with Oliver?

They recognized Venda the elve's high priestess. It would seem that they had been looking for her for a while now.

"Lance and I have been looking for her, she disappears two years ago, the Mirkwood elves thought it was a lover dispute with their prince so they didn't put in resources," Rolland said, "There was no leads. Is she alive?"

"I don't know but last I saw she didn't look so good. The police took too long to find her." I answered, " I had hope that the council would step in."

There was a paused.

"You weren't looking?"

"Are you kidding me, I never went there before. The place is your average hotel." I said signing hard.

The bell rings and I heard Min scream my name to get the door. Apparently, she was occupied and it was my turn to get the door.

"We'll talk about this later," I said as I was not going let them do my work for me.

Slowly, I managed to walk to the door and opened it. The being with power that was waiting was patient than I expected. I couldn't tell whose signature was it but I was sure this wasn't one of my families so I had to assume it was an enemy; as customers know better than to visit the vault ever. This was like holy land no one comes in except Min.

To my surprised, it was Cat in all her glory. She was dress in fur wearing large black glasses looking very celebrity-like and she smelled of jasmine, cardamom, carnation, lemon, bergamot and benzoin.

"Aren't you going to invite me in?"

"No,"

"I have important information. Knight hasn't even heard about it but I'm willing to sell it to you for sixty grand." She offers cheekily.

"How was your night with Oliver?"

Her eyes widen. She made the mistake of taking off her glasses and looking into my eyes. The passive spell that was weaved in was active. I was taken aback by what I saw, it turns out Phi was a she not a he like I thought and that Cat was Phi and Phi was Cat. It would seem that the council was punishing them by exchanging their body. Taking their soul away from their mate and letting the body near their mate. It was the ultimate punishment but the reversed spell did not show me why it was done, Cat pulled out the moment she realized what was happening.

That explains a lot. She hated me but always sort of includes me and supports me too. I always found it odd.

"It not as you would expect. He was good. Really talented, I've never guessed that it could be like that with him." She said smirking.

I was speechless.

"Forty grand and the information is yours, you won't regret it. It'll be worth every cent spent. I know good deals when I see one." said Cat,

I looked at her as if she was mad.

"No," I said,

"Why not?"

"I don't have money, and if I did I wouldn't give you money even if it was my life on the line," I said grudgingly.

Cat blinked. This was an unsuccessful deal. Her first failure, but not the last. I was not going to make a deal with her when I knew more. Future knowledge cost a lot and I hand over a thousand years of in stored in my brain. So why would I buy dated information?

But if I had the chance I will help her and Phi. Now, I recall that half a month after she died, Phi had evaporated into the air, something unusual for Phoenixes.
