1 prologue

The snow was falling down that day ...the wind whipping at his now newly scarred back were once only laided two lines ... Were now wings that laid upon the soft crimson sheets of the Prince's bed. Wings brushed in beautiful gold and tawny brown feathers on the top with a line of rose gold feathers near the bottom of his primary and secondary feathers. As the moon's milky light poured into his bronzen skin... He sat in disbelief as he sat there wondering how did this happen, cause his parents....were human all their lives and he never has seen them show any shred of having wings at all ...or so he thought.

Her parents long gone, alive or dead wherever they were didn't matter as she was being carried away from her city now set ablaze. Her home now gone ... her people being slaughtered by the humans that now terrorized the lands of her home soil.

"Miss, missss...?"

"Yes, what is it, Lily?"Ruby said to Lily

"Welllll there's someone to here to see you, your Highness," Lily said gesturing towards the man behind her

"Well it's nice to meet you, your Highness" a voice of pure honey that purred out as the tall and nicely dressed man walked up to her with pure grace in his steps.

Then she realized it when she looked up to see his face, which was looking down towards hers. Gorgeous. Utterly gorgeous, his dark bronze skin and soft amber eyes that looked at her with pure curiously. That he was the new king of humankind.
