Chapter One

"Jennifer!! Time for School!! It's Your first day you can not afford to be late." My mum yelled banging on my door. I let out a loud exaggerated groan, well more like a yelp. "Five more minutes!!" I yelled back. "Five Minutes!!" She yelled back before she got distracted by my infant sister's wailing. I let out a relieved sigh grateful for my sister's distraction, Before I knew it the darkness lured me in.

" Shh- They'll Hear us" whispered a smiling sixteen-year-old boy. His skin was pale with a light purple tint. His hair was full of silky locks of black hair. And His eyes sported a bright violet. Must be contacts or some fucking cool genetics, I thought. His face was angular. His mischievous smile was filled with mischief. The girl was the complete opposite. Long blonde wispy hair. Her eyes resembled the color of lava. She was holding his hand as they ran through the forest. He was wearing a white band shirt with a leather vest, and black jeans with rips in the jeans. She was wearing a tight long sleeve brown shirt, with loose black jeans. They looked perfect with each other. Like they didn't have a care in the world like they were free. The boy pulled her close and pushed her against a tree. She giggled as she held his face in her palm. He placed his hands loosely on her hips and leaned into the girl. The girl smiled before jumping into the kiss wrapping her legs around his waist. He slowly moved his hands to her ass placing them there to make sure she didn't fall. I looked around and let me just say- I want to fucking life here. The flowers weren't just any flowers, they varied in different shapes and sizes. The one that caught my eye, had a ball of light floating in the center of it. It was growing bigger and bigger, until-

I jolted up. panting, Sweat beaded on my brow. Why was it so hot in here? I reached my hand up to wipe my forehead and yelped shaking my hand vigorously. My had was on fire. The bright orange flames snaked around my arms. But the weird thing was that I didn't feel a thing. You know the saying, "Don't Play with fire"? Yeah, fuck that saying I got up the flames still licking my skin. I tried flicking it off my wrist but it just fell to the ground adding a charred black spot on the floor. I tried launching the fire up in the air, but nothing worked. Defeated, I walked over to my nightstand and grabbed my phone from the nightstand, and my eyes widened when I saw the time. I had five minutes before school starts!!! I ran to my closet and grabbed the two nearest things an I could find, a grey cropped hoodie, and badly ripped blue jeans. I ran to the bathroom in search of a hair tie. I fished through my makeup drawer and found a telly tie. I guess that will work. I flipped my head upside down and tied my hair up in a messy bun, before running into my room to grab my bag. I raced down the steps, But halted and ran back to the bathroom. Holly shit- My eyes. Normally their a light brown but right now they sported a neon orange. My mum can't see this!! I screamed in my thoughts. I ran to my room and grabbed the biggest sunglasses I had. Satisfied I ran down to the kitchen. Mum looked at me, my sister glued to her hip. "You fell asleep again didn't you?" She asked her free hand on her hip. I ran over to her and quickly kissed her cheek before replying, "Of course I did" she chuckled then shoed me out of the house.

"Have yall seen the new kids?" Lilly asked looking into mine and Amelia's eyes. "New kids?" I asked grabbing my yellow science binder from my locker, "Yeah, Apparently they're both seniors and they are hot as hell, I think one of them is married." Lilly concluded, with a smile on her face. I chuckled but stopped once I realized she was being serious. "18? Isn't that a little young?" I asked zipping up my bag. "Well it's what I heard, apparently he's married to some person his dad disapproves of. " Lilly said. Handing me my phone. Both of them dropped their jaw as they stared into the distance. "What are yall staring at? " I asked turning to where they were staring. My mouth dropped open, out of surprise. Amelia was smiling, and she took off toward one of the boys.

Two boys. The one that caught my attention looked vaguely familiar. He had long black locks. His eyes were bright purple. he had a six-foot frame. He carried himself differently his body was hunched over, almost like he was thinking about a loved one he lost. I froze and our eyes met it felt as though a million triggers in my head went on. I dropped my phone out of shock. The dude with the dreamy purple eyes taped the other dude who was embracing Amelia. And pointed toward me. Why does look so familiar? Then it hit me. But how????? The sixteen-year-old boy. The girl. But what was he doing here? His gaze was burning into my soul...How- Why is he here? "Holy fucking Shit-" Lilly said looking at me. "What?" I asked still not breaking my gaze with the mystery man. . "Your hair- Your eyes. " What? Congratulations you finally realized I have hair, How am I supposed to respond to that? "What about my hair?" I asked Mystery boy browse are gaze turning over to the other boy. "Your hair turned blonde, And Your Eyes were like orange. " What? "Okay, crazy pants. " The eyes I know happened, but the hair? I started to fumble with the trinket on my wrist. The mystery boy started walking over to me. Every step he took closer I took one back. How is he here right now? My chest was getting heavy. "How could I dream about someone that I never met but is now going to my fucking high school?!!"

The boy rolled his eyes and Ran over to me. He looked into my eyes trying to place if I was real. "Cecile?" I gave him a questing glare. "My name's Jennifer. " I told him, taking a small step back. "No, Your name is Cecile. " He said, pointedly his eyes, not leaving mine. He was starting to freak me out. "Look, I don't know who Fucking Cecile is, I would appreciate it if you ran back to your little girlfriend, and leave me alone. " I said stepping back. I so want to smack him, for what? I don't know I just want to...."Girlfriend, who do you think is my girlfriend. " He said amusement lace within his voice. I shrugged my shoulders. "When you were around sixteen, you had a girlfriend you would sneak into the forest and you made out with this, short girl, long wispy blonde hair and eyes like lava. " I said folding my arms as the school bell rang. He laughed hard. "Whoo- If she knew someone called her short your head would have been on a plater. " Lilly hurried off. "Draven, what does Jenn have to do with this. " Amelia said. Draven took his eyes off of me and then landed on her stomach. Witch as swollen. My eyes were wide. "What. In. The. Fuck?" I said still staring at her stomach. "What?!" Draven said looking me over to make sure I was alright. "How- Amelia?!" I started My mouth agape, She looked at me and scratched her head. "You can see this?" She asked pointing to her stomach. "Of course, I can I'm not fucking blind, but It wasn't there before, was it?" She looked at The boy next to her with narrowed eyes. "Truth, What the hell does Amelia have to do with us?" She asked narrowing her eyes at Draven and the other person. They Both Fidgeted uncomfortably. "We need to go where more private. " I looked at these people with astonishment..: "Hell to the Nah, I don't need some sico maniacs to lead me into an abandoned room. You do hear how sketchy that fucking sound right?" I said, causing Draven to laugh, but the other dude to glare. Draven tried to pull me with my arm, but I kneed him in the nuts. He bent over and then smiled up at me. "We've done a lot worse, Cec- Jeniffer. " He said causing me to freeze, and make Amelia crack up laughing. Draven put his hands on my waist and hoisted me up on his shoulders. I kept clawing and kicking his shoulders and back. "Let me go!!!"

We entered an abandoned classroom shocker, and Amelia sat on a chair her hand on her stomach. "Well?" She asked leaning her head back, with her eyes closed. Draven sighed. "Four months ago The princess was taken by a witch, her memory wiped. She was placed in Unani Family. And We've looked everywhere. " Draven said squezing my hand harder. Amelia had her hand on her mouth she leaned forward in her chair, on the brink of tears. "We looked everywhere by the border, so initially we cam here to relive you of your mission and tell you, but then we f Cec- Jennifer. " The other dude said, I scoffed releasing my hand from, Draven's. "So yall think I'm some sort of fucking princess?" I said on the verge of throwing something. Amelia got up and walked over to me with an apologetic expression on her face. "I'm sorry. " Before I could ask why she slapped me across my face. I stumbled back infuriated.

"What the hell?" I screamed holding my cheek was sure to bruise. Amelia threw her hands up in the air. "Okay, Just because that didn't work doesn't mean she is the princess. " The other dud said. "I'M NOT A FUCKING PRINCESS YOU DUMB ASS DIMWITTED DICK!" I screamed, Making sure to glare at my bestie's boyfriend. None of them say anything, The dude who's name I still don't fucking know has the audacity to break the silence. "Look, Cec- Jennifer I know this is a lot to take in but-" That was my last straw. "I'm fucking leaving. And don't try and follow me. " I ordered them, in a deadly low voice. I started running out the door. I could hear a pair of footsteps running behind me. I looked behind me to see drave catching up with me. I tried to run faster but he just grabbed my arm. "Please don't leave. " He whispered gently. His purple eyes darkened and he looked like he was going to cry. I kinda felt bad for him. "Look, I know you want me to be some sort of fire princess thing, but I have to go I'm sorry I can't do this. " I said softly shrugging his hand. "Midnight tomorrow meet me at the yellow drone park I'll answer all your questions, and it's only going to be me. I promise " he said a small glint of hope in his eyes. I sighed before nodding. His smile was the most refreshing thing I have seen all day, it lit up the room... Quite literally his teeth were whiter than snow. Florescent seems to fit the description. He squeezed my hand before running back to the room. I stood there dumbfounded. Standing in the place where our eyes first met. The hallway. I stood there smiling like a fucking idiot. Before I knew it, the bell had rung. I was still trapped in my thoughts but luckily Lilly pulled me away from them, "Lilly? Are you Okay? You never Miss Science- Wait are you smiling? I haven't seen you smile for ages. Are you going to answer me or leave me hanging?" She ranted. Did I just get asked out by the hottest guy in school? The short answer is yes. Will I go? Absolutely not. But do I want to? Absolutely fucking yes.
